Many people have won titles and not acted like complete fools. That was just obnoxious. The commentary on slate is awesome.

Hawk, get a life outside of looking at every damn pitch a sox hitter takes as a ball and every pitch a sox pitcher throws as a strike. Retarded.

Official 2008-2009 NHL Thread
Rule changes: http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/news?slug=txru...t&type=lgns Agree with all of them, though they should just go to no touch icing already. It's clear why the made the rule change, so why not just take it one step further? It's really not an exciting play in hockey, only a dangerous one.

Tiger freakin Woods
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 17, 2008 -> 03:37 PM) Antics? So you prefer statues walking down the fairway? Golfers including Tiger are the calmest athletes in sports, they react about .00000001 percent as crazy as baseball, football, bball, hockey, and soccer players. I prefer people not embellishing s*** because they can and it's a better story. He was over the top.

Tiger freakin Woods
I could have done without Tiger acting up after each bad shot. Like he didn't know the cameras would be on him after them, too. I mean give him credit, but I can do without the ridiculous antics.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 9, 2008 -> 07:19 PM) I'm back in Chicago and the air in my moms house is broken, absolutely brutal right now. If it hasn't been alcohol induced, I haven't been able to sleep at all. I don't see what the problem is

Blackhawks Offseason Thread
QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jun 8, 2008 -> 04:44 PM) Actually, Lang's will be up after next season so that'll be about another $3.5 million freed up. Not that much. I'd give them both 8 years, $40 million. That's only $10 million between 2 guys, and then I'd give Keith $4 million a year, probably 4 years, $17 million. Good luck with that

6/4 - Sox vs. KC, 7:11 CT, CSN
QUOTE (Friend of Nordhagen @ Jun 4, 2008 -> 10:19 PM) I've got no problem with it -- with one out, go for it. It's not like he was out by 10 feet. A high school team could have gotten him. It was a 2 hopper to 3rd with not too much mustard, offline, and still out easy. Did he even look for the coach?

6/4 - Sox vs. KC, 7:11 CT, CSN
Far from a perfect throw, Hawk, and still out by a lot. You just knew he'd go for 3rd, and you just knew he'd be out easy.
