Ugly, ugly game all around. Illinois just seemed lifeless after we got a decent lead. Vaden is pretty good. DJ showed some flashes, i liked his play as well. The strategy of eating up the shot clock almost every possession by you guys seemed like a good one. No one really got hot, or hit any momentum changing threes, to really give us a scare though. 23-0, off to Michigan tuesday.

Indiana at Illinois, 12:00 on CBS. I'm off to the game. Should be pretty non-epic.

You're wrong. ANY season is better than a canceled season at this point. There is no guarantee whatsoever they'll have it worked out for September. This will go into next year as well is my guess.

Keith, while i agree with some of what you said and i agree we are heading in the right direction, this could be a lot worse if the Blackhawks were actually good. We weren't going to win the cup this year. Could you imagine if we had a team that was a legit contender, and we just wasted a year of that window because there was no season? After not winning the Cup since 61? We wouldn't know what to do with ourselves.

The game just went from ugly to uglier. Probly a good decision.

If the season did somehow start i actually hope the Hawks don't win a game. I want to win this draft lottery so bad and get Crosby.

I think this game will actually get decent ratings. I mean hell my other option, on ESPN, is replays of TILT. So this thing has stayed on the whole time.

I realize the season would be short and almost meaningless (though the playoffs would still be the same), i still want an NHL season. I think A season is much, much better than no season at all. I think a cancelation would find more people not watching hockey when it does come back. Plus, if we have a season this year, that means there will be a season next year for sure. Right now there is a good chance there is no season (or a shortened one) next year if something doesn't get hammered out within the next few hours. Sure, it's not the same season...but i will take what i can get at this point. I don't want this to be the first season canceled in the four major sports' history.
