AR's offensive numbers of late have not been impressive, and it would really, really be helpful if he became a Mr. October for us. That said, His defensive efforts don't fail, and his attitude makes him a Sox favorite.

No longer a HR hitting team? I thought we rank like 3rd in the AL in home runs.

Let me premise this thread with the absolute affirmation that never, ever would I want the Sox to lose. That said, if Boston and Cleveland are forced to play on Monday, do we gain a little edge in terms of rest for the playoffs? The only way for that to happen is for Cleveland to win tomorrow.

I hate to bring down the average a bit more, but add my record: 1-3

This is an extension of a discussion on WSCR. El Duque has hardly been a shining light of late. Does his playoff experience make him a valuable component in playoff situations anyway? BMac on the other hand has been very good of late. Does his inexperience and inconsistency overall make him too risky especially given you have to trim your roster quite a bit for the playoffs?

Any suggestions on where tonight some of us can congregate to celebrate?

Idea for one of the computer geniuses out there... Could some kind of email card be developed to celebrate our division championship? Cool graphics and sounds would be essential. I'd love to send this sort of thing to all my friends...and Cub fans too.
