QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Jul 7, 2007 -> 08:37 PM) But don't you look at this like Rosenthal did? That this is too close for no deal to happen? There just seem to be so many potential compromises, if Mark is willing to accept some trade risk, that allow the Sox to save face, too. How can this not happen? Stubborness in applying company policies.

So just for future reference, No Boras clients and nobody that wants a NTC. Maybe Kenny plan on plyaing oompaloompas next year. The way the clowns are running this organization baffles me. I wish we could trade our GM/ownership policies. They suck a long one.

QUOTE(JDsDirtySox @ Jul 7, 2007 -> 06:44 PM) I don't know if anyone saw the postgame interview with MB today... but things don't look good. When asked the odds of him being here after the all star break, he said 50/50, but probably would lean towards getting moved. He also threw something in there about being discouraged and actually said something along the lines of going into Kenny and Rick Hahn about pulling the deal off the table. He said whatever is going to happen he would just like it to happen now. I really can't blame Mark for feeling this way.

Greg Walker will fix'em.

AND THATS A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!

This is only half of a winner. It would have been a full winner if Buehrle was re-signed after the game. -

If that's the last of Buehrle, I am glad he shut down the "unstoppable" Twins offense and continues to make KW look like ass when he treats Buehrle as expendable. -

QUOTE(DonnyDevito @ Jul 6, 2007 -> 09:10 PM) if minnesota brings in pat neshek, then they're just rubbing it in... Just because the season is a complete loss, I think we should physically beat the Twink's ass. They beat us at baseball, we brutalize them. Just as long as we are not expecting Dye to start it. The Twinks could drill him in the ear, piss on him, then fornicate with his mother on the scoreboard and JD would just put his head down and trot to first. -
Well, The Brewers picked up a game today as they won and the Cubs lost. Perhaps the Pirates are actually better than we give them credit for. It would be nice if the Pirates finished in second right behind the Brewers. I was thinking that the Cards need to get going and finish second to keep the Cubs in third, but this Pirates team is kinda spunky. COuld the Pirates have a winning season this year for the first time since the Bonds, Bonilla, Van Slyke days? If it keeps the Cubs out of the playoffs, the Pirates have my complete support.

Getting hit around like a pinata is great for Gavin's confidence. Too bad our "bullpen" is exhausted from the first game. -

If you think this is bad, wait for Kenny Williams Blue Light Special Rotation for 2008 Count Javy Danks Gio Gavin Whoopee!!! With all of this year's train wreck of a bullpen returning. -

I guess the Sox shouldn't put Gavin in their pregame montage yet. Speaking of which, ... we need a montage, montage!!! -

If Dye moves any slower in the field, he risks being buried alive. And yes JD, those inside pitches are in fact strikes. -

QUOTE(Brian @ Jul 6, 2007 -> 07:47 PM) Hawk needs to stop calling broken bats a "Matt Abatacolla". Nobody cares about an inside joke with him and some radio producer. Instead, Hawk could call errors "George Ofman's" in honor of Ofman's saying the Buehrle deal was done. -

QUOTE(JohnCangelosi @ Jul 6, 2007 -> 07:47 PM) I've never seen a team get more infield hits than the Twins If we were not the slowest team in the big leagues, we might get them too periodically. -

QUOTE(spiderman @ Jul 6, 2007 -> 05:31 PM) Hopefully, Reinsdorf gets off his ridiculous position, and get something done because this is plain stupid. I would go so far as to suggest that it is an embarassment to White Sox fans. -

QUOTE(spiderman @ Jul 6, 2007 -> 04:55 PM) Bruce Levine is reporting today that the talks are dead. If true, he only has a few more days/weeks here. It would be funny if WMVP was off this time as much as the Score was off initially. That being said, KW really dropped the ball if true. -

Dam, they are starting football season sooner every year. I expected more from the Bears D today, seeing that the Vikings are not an offensive powerhouse. That being said, the game would have been easier to win if Rex did not fumble six more snaps. Losing by 10 to the Vikings hurts. I can't wait for monotone Lovie in the postgame. -
I don't care how good of a player he is, I want a jersey with "Fukudome" on the back. On a side note, I hope we are scouting Japan including this guy and others. Iguchi was a nice pick for us, and inexpensive. Be nice to go the same route.
