  1. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jun 20, 2006 -> 09:54 AM) The Sox signing of Borchard was just as skewed. For the love of God Yas... you know this is no place for common sense!! Bias - one sided misguided idiotic bias - is all that's allowed here.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1J7d2ssc3Y...echanic%20steal I'm so glad I know enough about my car to check some of this stuff out. Also helps that I have dealer service which is covered on my warranty. Bunch of assholes.
  3. The guy yelling "f*** YEA!!!" in celebration on national tv was hysterical. Congats QP
  4. QUOTE(lukeman89 @ Jun 19, 2006 -> 06:36 PM) here is a small sample size of what i know about the opposite sex they have vaginas between their legs ('cept your mom) they suck at driving they know nothing about baseball they make less money than men they have too many pairs of shoes they are b****es they can sense when a man is being insecure, and they done find it attractive they know when a man is kissing up to them, and they dont find it attractive using "Hey i like that shirt, it hides your belly really well" as a pick-up line works like a charm. i can go on, but i figure if i leave you with a sample size larger than jon garland's pitching stats in the 9th inning of a start in 2006 you can get some sort of an idea of my knowledge of women
  5. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jun 20, 2006 -> 07:46 AM) And you've seen with cases like Drew Henson and Chad Hutchison, more often that not, if they don't succeed right off the bat, they'll go back to football. Too bad Borch couldn't get that hint..
  6. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 20, 2006 -> 07:12 AM) We can't forget about the power happy admin who owns a lightbulb factory who bans anyone who talks bad about lightbulb manufacturers. Nor can we forget about the poster who pays the lightbulb factory bills :rolly
  7. QUOTE(CleanSox @ Jun 19, 2006 -> 08:10 PM) Why? Don't get me wrong. I hope he doesn't stop and that you folks don't stop spending hours deconstructing all his "theories" and posting your frustrated replies and demands. It's a great read. (Well, at least if you subtract all that nastiness and personal stuff from "STFU Steff") And from the number of hits his threads draw, I can tell I'm not the only one being entertained. But really, why should he even attempt to answer your queries if his credibility is zero around here? Do you demand the same rigor (and expend the same effort) on the endless stream of threads started with topics like "Wife's Severed Head Flies From Truck When Man Crashes: Police Found Wife's Headless Body At Home"? Please understand, Jim. I'm not trying to "call you out" as you put it in an earlier post. You just seem like a good surrogate for the serious questioners. When I say "you" I really mean everyone who keeps trying to get things to line up in a way that doesn't offend their sense of the logical. There's the other contingent that seems to have history with Hanger, and still others who always come around when they hear the big dogs start barking. So what else is new in the realm of internet forums? Yay.. another new pot stirring troll.
  8. Not sure if this is because of that, but my Auto-Protect caught several things that don't belong trying to get onto my computer in the past 5 minutes.
  9. Everyone got a hit yesterday.. pretty damn cool.
  10. QUOTE(JimH @ Jun 17, 2006 -> 08:40 AM) Interesting. So what you're saying, as I understand it, is Hangar can post his media rants without accountability for accuracy, and no one can comment on it? Really? Is that what you're saying? I understand about no personal attacks, but since when is it SoxTalk policy to let one special person post a daily thread, but people who disagree with it (on several levels) shouldn't comment on it? Isn't it a better idea to deal with the personal attacks, specifically the people who are slinging them? What does "now let's move on in keeping any debate regarding the facts of his methodology" mean? Again, I am a little confused by this. Thanks for any clarification. Jim H. Yes, and FWIU that's what's been done. As far as "shut the f*** up" being a personal attack, whatever, but so be it. But if you don't want some s*** slug your way, don't sling it in the first place. It's pretty telling when someone dishes it, then cries when they don't like the return meal.
  11. QUOTE(SoxFan76 @ Jun 16, 2006 -> 03:02 PM) To each his/her own. All this time I was being raised to be a respectful member of society. I guess not everyone chose that path. You get what you give.
  12. QUOTE(Hangar18 @ Jun 16, 2006 -> 03:45 PM) HEHH HEHE HEHEH. On a serious note, I was hoping they would renovate the stadium and do something useful with it. It really is one of the last stadiums of that era to be still standing in almost vintage condition. Fenway and The Urinal have had so much work done to it, they arent really the same parks anymore. For a run down crack whore meeting facility perhaps.
  13. QUOTE(tonyho7476 @ Jun 16, 2006 -> 02:25 PM) For those who care, they finally got him up and running online. Perfect for people in offices, who cannot get reception. What the heck took ya so long..? It's been up since 11am
  14. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 16, 2006 -> 02:25 PM) What purpose has it even served since being closed? When I went up there last year to see a Sox Tigers game it was like half destroyed already with grafiti all over the outer walls. Excuse you.. just where are the gangs going to meet now to make their drug exchanges? Where will the kids strong enough to scale the fences got to underage drink..? Where will the teen whores take their teen johns to make money to support their 4 infants...?
  15. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 16, 2006 -> 02:17 PM) Unfortunate? Please, that place needs to be imploded along with half of that city. Maybe unfortuneate means good...
  16. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 16, 2006 -> 02:05 PM) what isn't there to love abot the guy? His complexion.
  17. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 16, 2006 -> 01:55 PM) Seems like you enjoy arguing more than having a civilized discussion. Ding, ding, ding...
  18. QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Jun 16, 2006 -> 01:55 PM) Heh, that's a good one. Do you mind if I use that? Damn.. I totally could have used that earlier this morning..
  19. QUOTE(SoxFan76 @ Jun 16, 2006 -> 01:47 PM) So you just enjoy being a rude and ignorant smartass? Pretty much. Don't like it, you STFU also. Have a nice weekend.
  20. QUOTE(southsideirish @ Jun 15, 2006 -> 05:19 PM) Dude, it was a joke on Johnny B's show. They slowed down the entire tape. Didn't you notce that the organ was playing slow and the people in the background were all singing slow. Come on man. So it was a joke, yet he's still being libeled...?
  21. Here's another gem... http://www.crimelibrary.com/news/ap/0606/1...yr_old_boy.html Woman admits raping 13-year-old boy June 9, 2006, 8:14 PM EDT ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) _ A woman admitted Friday that she pretended to be a health department worker before raping a 13-year-old boy at knifepoint. Marilyn Rosario, 34, pleaded guilty to second-degree rape involving the boy, who claimed she came to his home on May 8 and posed as a health department worker who was there to talk to him about sexually transmitted diseases. Once inside the home, police said Rosario raped and robbed the boy, Rosario will be sentenced on June 28 to six months in Monroe County Jail and 10 years of probation. She will also have to register as a sex offender, be required to have no contact with the boy, and pay restitution of $9 for the money she stole from him.
  22. QUOTE(IlliniBob72 @ Jun 16, 2006 -> 10:30 AM) Uggie and his buddies attacked some guys with machettes and Ozzie defended him. Perhaps I should cut him some slack since he's friends with Urbina. However, if a friend of mine goes after someone with a machette, I reconsider my relationship with the guy. I didn't read about the defense. T4TI.
  23. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jun 16, 2006 -> 10:06 AM) You guys can throw??? We'll be there pretty early and we'll have our gloves today as well. Probably be there around 4 or so. Boz, be sure to notify folks to keep their kids and cars out of the line of fire..
