  1. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Mar 17, 2006 -> 01:04 AM) No green? Why would there be? Its very reasonable.
  2. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 17, 2006 -> 12:32 AM) Amen. It wouldn't surprise me if they go to the Final 4, but I just couldn't pick against Texas. I agree with LSU beating Duke, but I got Iowa taking out LSU to make the final 4 This is when I hope no one remembers when I said Iowa had no chance at making the final 4.
  3. Well, I went 11-4 (12-4 if Washington holds on), but lost Seton Hall, who I picked to knock off Tenn in the second round. I'm pissed off that I changed the A&M/Syracuse game, which I originally had A&M winning, but changed last night. Either way, I had LSU knocking off the winner of that game, so I don't lose much.
  4. QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Mar 17, 2006 -> 12:18 AM) 3 ball off a deflection. Indiana up 2, probably like 4 seconds left. 3.3 seconds to be precise (IIRC)
  5. QUOTE(T R U @ Mar 17, 2006 -> 12:00 AM) Haha please.. Culpepper had his career year in a season were Moss was almost ther 3rd leading reciever on the team.. Moss had 13 TD's in 13 games. 'Nuff said. From what I saw of some of Culpepper's interceptions, they were his own fault. His line gave him enough time, and his receivers got themselves as open as they normally would, but Culpepper just didn't pull the trigger in time. The offensive line can only do so much, and if the QB holds onto the ball for too long, it's no longer the lines fault when something bad happens. Yea, the line wasn't the best, and did lead to some of his mistakes, but I give him equal blame. And he can complete all the passes he wants.. it doesn't mean much if his TD:INT ratio is 1:2. The past is the past. He was a great player before getting hurt and with one of the best receivers in the game on his team. This is the present, and after a severe knee injury. Lets see him do that again, and then I'll be convinved. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that what you are supposed to do if you are hurt? You aren't exactly going to come out and say "I'm still in severe pain, and I don't know if I'll ever be as good as I was".
  6. QUOTE(V for Venereal @ Mar 16, 2006 -> 11:44 PM) MaCarthy McCarthy
  7. Well, Syracuse has decided that it doesn't have to get back on defense once the Aggies beat the press, and now trail by 7 with a little over 2 minutes to go.
  8. Tonights games: Saint Joseph's 71 - Rutgers 62 Creighton 71 - Akron 60 Hofstra 73 - Nebraska 62 Michigan 82 - UTEP 67 Here's an updated bracket for the ease of those of you following
  9. QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Mar 16, 2006 -> 09:57 PM) Only 3 wrong so far: I picked Seton Hall (boy was I wrong!) Nevada NC-Wilmington (that could've gone either way). Also, picked Wisc-Milw. which I'm happy about. So far, so good. Thats basically me, except I got Marquette wrong, not NC-Wilmington I also picked Seton Hall over Tennessee, so yea.. ouch
  10. If any Illini fan criticizes Gonzaga, they better criticize the Illini first.
  11. I picked Wisconsin Milwaukee over Oklahoma Thats basically my only claim to fame right now.. if that's even considered one.
  12. The announcers just can't get enough Adam Morrison.
  13. QUOTE(T R U @ Mar 16, 2006 -> 03:53 PM) Miami got a former FRANCHISE QB with a bum knee for a 2nd round pick, not only that, they restructured his contract and actually SAVED money on the cap.. Fixed. He also hasn't shown anything without a Randy Moss on his team. Moss acted as the safety net for him, and if he ever had any questions, he'd just throw it to Moss. Last year, it was pretty obvious that he wasn't comfortable, whether it be because he didn't have Moss or another reason. We'll see how he rebounds from his injury, and we'll see if he can do something without Moss. I, for one, think he will suffer. Also, the point that they overpaid still stands. Culpepper's value fell after the Vikings bluff was called, yet the Dolphins *still* gave up a second rounder.

  15. The results so far (updated at 11:17 EST): Minnesota 73 - Wake Forest 58 Notre Dame 79 - Vandelbilt 69 South Carolina 74 - Western Kentucky 55 Clemson 69 - Louisiana Tech 53 Houston 77 - BYU 67 Miami 62 - Oklahoma State 59 Old Dominion is up 60-45 on Colorado with 8 minutes left.
  16. Minnesota is taking care of business against Wake, up 63-51 with 8 minutes left. Am I the only one paying attention to the NIT, and am I talking to myself in this thread?
  17. Am I the only one that thinks the Dolphins overpaid for him? They bluffed that a team had been offering a second rounder last week, and all three teams called their bluff, retracting their offers. Now, even though Culpepper's value was decreased, they still give up a second rounder, which can be a very solid player. Culpepper's knee is shot, his salary is large (IIRC), and they could have gotten him for much, much less. I don't think Culpepper will ever be the same player he was two years ago, and I think the Dolphins would have been better off going with a QB in the draft, or even signing Brees.
  18. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 12, 2006 -> 08:22 PM) Ya, I have the Hoyas taking out OSU in round 2. I know this post is from like.. halfway through the other page, but yea, I have the same thing
  19. Rutgers knocked off PSU today 76-71, Butler beat Miami (OH) 53-52, Manhattan edged Fairleigh Dickinson 80-77, UTEP is ripping Lipscomb with 5 minutes left in the second 70-55, Charlotte beat Georgia Southern 77-61, and Stanford/Virginia is at the half with Stanford up 36-23 while Northern Arizona and Delaware State are tied at 25 at the half. Its hard to come up with different ways of saying "Team A beat Team B"
  20. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 14, 2006 -> 04:14 PM) Titan. Definitely. Young is going out of the top 5 in the draft now, and will likely end up around 9 or 10 to the Lions (unless they plan on Kitna being a long term answer) or Cardinals (unless they plan on Warner being the long term answer).
  21. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Mar 13, 2006 -> 02:15 PM) Why not do a Big Ten forum with sub forums for each team? Now *that* is a good idea
  22. Minnesota's an 8 in the NCAA tourny Not that I know anything about their team, but hey, they can't suck completely!
