This is where people could use some sense. First off that is ONLY for Medicare patients. No other insurance is paying more for COVID specifically. The only reason medicare is paying more for COVID is because it costs more to treat a COVID patient. I promise you that even with the extra money, hospitals are losing more money on these patients, as medicare WAY underpays market rates for treatments.
