  1. They should. Get him his innings, let him keep working as much as possible.
  2. Hamilton went to Charlotte, not Chicago. Anderson is active and Covey is down to replace him.
  3. He probably is going to take a month at least to get into shape. He never really had a spring training.

  5. He used a groundball pitcher to try to get a ground ball in a double play situation. I wouldn't look at it much deeper than that.
  6. The food is what blew me away. A decent meal was $200+ for four of us. Even counter service was consistently $100+. It was nuts.
  7. For the amatuers who enjoy reading, any surprise assignments from the guys who are breaking camp with the full season affiliates, either high or low?
  8. But you just said in the other thread that Steverson fixed him
  9. And the shoulder is the worst possible injury.
  10. Only Ricky could lose a game they haven't played.
  11. Well, that $25 million is actually a lot less than $25 million. Even in the DR, there are taxes. We also know his agent gets a cut. We also know that Yo loves to spend. I am going to guess he has a lot less than $25 million today, probably less than half... or less.
  12. Dramatic is complaining that guys don't throw 400 innings like they used to because someone only threw 93 pitches in his opener.
  13. At some point the guys who haven't extended have to be thinking that getting the FA market to themselves might be highly profitable with all of the talent locked up.
  14. Dude. The last time someone threw 400 innings was 1908. In 1908 the slider, the splitter, and the cutter hadn't been invented yet. The spitter was still legal in 1908. I also damned sure can tell you that the average speed being thrown then wasn't in the 90s at all. Players also destroyed their arms and were never heard from again in 1908. We also still primarily moved by horse and buggy, primarily communicated by letters, and were without phones, television, and the internet. If you'd like to live like it is 1908, feel free to do it. I am fine with 2019.
  15. Seriously, Eloy needs to be here. Don't overreact to 4 games.
