Yeah, there is a near zero chance he is a pen guy, except maybe as a long man. He is probably starting somewhere, either in Charlotte or Chicago. Realistically, there is no need for him as a short reliever with the pen depth we have as it stands now.

Back to the original topic, I am going to read into September moves and non-moves and say this. 1. Charlie Tilson gets whacked from the 40 2. Adams and Stephens do not get added to the 40 and do not get picked in the Rule 5. 3. It would not shock me to see Carson Fulmer DFA'd.

All I can take from it is that Rick Hahn has a sense of humor.

Just going to say that pretty much everyone on this list is a level or two above where I think the Sox actually shop for pitching this off season.
