It is also how they got their manager.

Let's be real, if there is any villain/KW role to be played, we all know I've got that wrapped up.

Smith has been optioned. What I am hoping for is the Sox to not send Castillo for rehab until the end so he is returned to the active roster on Sept 1.

And over his last 15 games Engel is sporting a .964 OPS.

This might be the greatest single post in the history of Soxtalk.

Wellington Castillo still has to make it in at some point, which probably means no Seby. Bummer, Fulmer, and Rondon are for sures in my mind. Tilson would make sense. I am not as certain about guys who aren't currently on the 40 man roster. I would love to see Hamilton, Eloy and Kopech up here ASAP, but with them not being here already, it is probably going to be the middle of next April until we start to see those guys.

Because the only thing better than Bud Light, is stale and expired Bud Light.

A bunt is better. It changes the infield defense and creates confusion.

DO THIS MORE! TAKE THE HITS! FORCE THE IF TO COME IN!

That easy swing to RCF the opposite way is exactly where I see Magglio Ordonez in Eloy's swing. The recognition of the pitch on the outer third, and the strength to power it out to the opposite field. Just a thing of beauty.

Launch Engel!

I was thinking Magglio, but I would take Miggy too.

On the bright side, no more posts about why Gomez wasn't called up.

Steve Stone is the problem. He doesn't sound good with Hawk or Jason. Both Hawk and Jason sound much better with anyone else.

If this were anymore Petty, it would be a lead singer in the Heartbreakers.

One thing I will say with near certainty. The White Sox will not add a new rookie player to the 40 man roster to serve as a place holder for two-three weeks so they can instantly replace them with Michael Kopech. Maybe it is a Tyler Danish who starts for two weeks and moves to the pen, or Dylan Covey, but it won't be someone like Adams or Stephans. If they break on the roster as a starter, it is because they want them there for the season, not as a placeholder.

Gio Gonzalez? That is a gutsy prediction.

While the window for getting Bryce Bush on this list was a bit too late, I think he well make a lot of teams and scouts look bad for his slide to the 33rd round. Will be interesting to see if he opens next year in full season ball, and how he responds to the challenge.
