I mean if we want to get right down to it, the Sox signed Carlton Fisk and The Bull after a 90 loss season. The Sox would have to improve 31 whole games to improve to the point where they were as bad as when the Sox signed Fisk and Bull. In that year they moved up to a team that was 2 games over .500 when the strike happened, but make that an entire season, and they are 82-80, or 10 games better than they were the previous year. Are a lot of people running out to buy tickets for this as a 111 loss team instead of a 121 loss team?
