  1. Unfortunately it is all to American with a long and nasty history behind it
  2. The fact that Chris refuses to play guys he traded for and developed in favor of meaningless veterans is such an indictment on his last two job titles.
  3. Search Twitter like I do.
  4. This is why a portion of the people want to defund the police. A person like me never has to worry about a traffic interaction like this. Lots of my friends aren't so lucky. Hard to blame them for wanting major changes.
  5. Odd you don't watch the White Sox at all.
  6. Not to mention the roster roulette that Captain Panic was playing for a couple of months.
  7. Of all of those names, interesting to see Dalquist still getting some run.
  8. And I am sure no follow up questions.
  9. To be above 100 losses in 2026, they need a LOT to go right very quickly. There still is a very minimal amount of offensive potential and even more so in the upper levls of the minor league system. Unless we clean up in the Crochet and Robert trades for 4-5 high end hitters, I don't see where enough offense is even going to come from for a LONG time.
  10. Except someone doesn't like him, so enjoy Gavin Sheets.
  11. It continues to amaze me that with all of the failures we have had this summer, THIS is what the Sox want to feed us. https://chicago.suntimes.com/white-sox/2024/09/07/white-sox-still-waiting-on-oscar-colas-theres-still-some-development-that-needs-to-go-on
  12. They went to 162 games in 1961, so that could make a difference.
  13. It's like a toddler getting a laugh and the repeating their just over and over and over and over...
  14. Next year? .600 maybe .650. I mean who is he going to have to beat out? Oh right the Golden Boy Gavin.
  15. Because Miami doesn't want him anymore
  16. Now imagine him saying this with Chris Getz hand up his ass working him like a puppet.
  17. Well even if he can't scout, Barfield at least recognizes bad baseball when he sees it. I wonder how much he regrets leaving AZ?
  18. That was more of a callback to when Jerry tried to make PK a player manager pre Ventura.
  19. Wait what? Are you referring to potential job security? Because literally everything else about the White Sox job is the worst in baseball
  20. He's also just doubled his IP from 23, after not throwing at all in 22, and only 71 IP in 21. Looks like he never threw more than 39 IP in college either.
  21. That's a lot of words that don't actually change any of the facts at hand. 1. Kopech flat out stated he wasn't listening to White Sox coaches. 2. Kopech is killing it in LA. I don't blame the Sox for that, I blame Michael Kopech for being uncoachable.
  22. What is Paul Konerko up to these days? Hell, Jerry might still be able to player/manage him and improve the DH position for sure
  23. Bold to assume he was going to get another even parallel job in another organization. What about his previous job performance made you think he had other options?
