  1. One good thing is that Hernandez is pitching a solid game here. His off-speed stuff is moving today, big time. If the offense wants to wake up and help him out, that would be great. Lead of grounder makes it one out in the bottom of the 4th for TB
  2. Uribe with a pop to short RF to end the top of the 4th Game tied at one
  3. QUOTE(fathom @ May 11, 2005 -> 02:21 PM) Haha, this is getting comical now. BTW....Free Donn Pall! We were undefeated with him in the booth. FREE THE POPE!!!
  4. AJ with a lazy first pitch fly out to CF, two down.
  5. Jesus Jermaine, swing the bat like you mean it
  6. Soft roller to Iguchi ends the 3rd, and actually it was a headsy play as he threw the ball a little before Konerko got to first, as if he would have waited for him to set up, the runner would have been safe. Veteran job by Tadahito.
  7. QUOTE(fathom @ May 11, 2005 -> 02:14 PM) Obviously, some people can't take sarcasm. Anyways, remember what I said about Tampa scoring this inning after we squandered the chance? Our momentum from a great start is officially gone. After reading some your other posts... it sure wasn't clear to me.
  8. Short fly to RF, two down. Sanchez holds at 2nd.
  9. Sanchez with a double up the RF line scoring AGonzalez from first. Game tied at 1.
  10. QUOTE(fathom @ May 11, 2005 -> 02:09 PM) By the time we would release him (when Frank gets back), he would only be owed about 600-700K. As of now, I'm just rooting for a season-ending injury for Timo. That's just sad really.
  11. One out single right back up the middle.
  12. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ May 11, 2005 -> 02:07 PM) Me too we are playing the Devil Rays. And we got the lead in the game
  13. Pauly Ks to end it 1-0 Sox going to the bottom of the 3rd. Thanks Timo.
  14. Iguchi steals 2nd easy, but gets hit with the throw and limps into 3rd... still two out.
  15. God I hate Timo Perez. He gets picked off of 2nd, going to third on first movement by Brazelton.
  16. ARow sac fly to LF gets one in, other runners hold. 1-0 Sox, with lead in game #34 straight.
  17. Casey Fossum warms in the pen.
  18. 2-1 now to Rowand as Braz gets one over
  19. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ May 11, 2005 -> 01:55 PM) You got that right, I this guy. People have been calling him a future ace since his collegiate career. He just can't get his control, otherwise, I'd think he'd be awfully dangerous. Perhaps he was rushed to the show in the Rays shallow roster? No doubt he was rushed. He shouldn't be here yet. He should be at AA harnessing that arm.
  20. BALL OF THE RAFTERS AND EVERYONE IS SAFE!!!!
  21. 40 pitches for Brazelton 21 strikes And he walks Timo... good AB for Timo.
  22. I can see why Brazelton is a top prospect, he has a ton of movement on his pitches... but he has no control yet.
  23. Lead off walk with a good AB by Ozuna. He saw a bunch of pitches there.
  24. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 11, 2005 -> 01:45 PM) AJ hasn't been very good defensively this year. But, he makes up for it with his ability to call a game and work with his pitchers. Which is OK -- I'm just pointing it out. I would take exception to that. AJ has been awesome at stopping balls in the dirt, and making plays at second when he has a chance. He also has been incredible at keeping his pitchers focused and making good pitches.
