Just give him the two weeks off right now. No sense having this be something that will bother him all year long. It is early, and he wasn't hitting well anyway, so now would be as good of a time to miss him.

ELo was just about perfect today. You couldn't ask for anything more from the guy. Plus the pen gets two days off now, on a minimal amount of pitches.

It was nothing more than a bounding ball past the 2nd baseman, into the hole between 2nd and 1st. The RF was slow getting on it, and Willie busted ass into second. Great, great, hustle. Let me be the first to say Corpseball is D-E-A-D.

ACtually it is even better. I don't ever remember his being so effecient with pitch count. usually he was around 100 pitches by the 7th.

Miguel has too many holes in his swing at this point to be a #2 hitter. If he learns to consistantly hit the offspeed stuff, maybe then. But Reed seems like a prototypical #2 hitter from what I hear and read about him.

Yeah I just commented on that as well. Keeping that front shoulder up, and following through. It is that easy to keep power and hit the ball hard the otherway.
