  1. So Tony wants to platoon him and the rest of the staff knows he is crazy. Gee I wonder who wins.
  2. This makes the most sense honestly. It's too bad, because I am out here trying to help them pay for their trade deadline moves, but they don't want my money.
  3. With Pollock already out for a leave for a few days, hopefully this is just roster spot management vs a bad sign.
  4. This has obviously been a leak from the A's side. I think they want to get this done sooner or later, and it is no coincidence that it happened right after all of the Sox pitching injuries, and it mentioned Andrew Vaughn by name two days after another rumor did the same thing. I think the A's want to get this done sooner, while the Sox want to get it done at their price. We all know the Sox would much rather sneak up on someone and make a deal in quiet, while Oakland wants the whole world to know so that they can try to get more/bigger bids for their last big chess auction. This information was obviously put out there for a reason and with a purpose.
  5. No idea what it is worth, but interesting to see a few saying it isn't done.
  6. Look, I get this has become your personal quest to destroy whomever tells us they have insider information, but we don't need another thread turned into a passing match over it. You made your point. Again. Let it go. It will either pan out, or it won't. Soxtalk can collectively decide for itself what the information is worth.
  7. I'd rather get a hug than be kicked in the balls as well.
  8. Since we have a thread on premium seating, I just want to go on record as stating that the White Sox premium seating sales team sucks. I emailed them about suite costs and options on March 25th through their webform, complete with details of what I was looking for and to find out. I got a generic reply 5 days from someone carrying the title of "Manager of Premium Seating" 5 days later, which ignored all of the information in that webform, and asking what I was looking for. I answered it the next morning. Over time I received 2 different emails offering 40% of certain suites. After not hearing anything for 5 days, I emailed this same person back again, mentioned the 40% off. It is now six days after the last email, 11 days total since the last correspondence from the White Sox, and 16 days after I first requested information, and I still don't have any of the information I requested.
  9. Big time grades on speed, arm, and defense.
