Update: Vasil Needs Tommy John
It's all a part of the plan. We are just too dumb to see it.

MLB Franchise Valuations for 2026 - Sox are 17th
Nah, everything is fine.

Update: Vasil Needs Tommy John
hahahahahahahahaha. The ability to attempt to recast being satisfied with horrible baseball and baseball decisions as some sort of asset is uncanny.

White Sox lawsuit.
We saved probably millions of lives. This isn't "something bad". It's 1 in 350 Americans dead. We go to war for MUCH less and give away those related freedoms every day. Also you don't have the freedom to kill other people.

Teel injured in WBC - Grade 2 hamstring strain, out 4-6 weeks
That's the point. If you had let him go early, you would have gotten nothing for him, and you wouldn't have a 2nd catcher

And We are back - sorry for the outage
For old times sake.... Gage'd!

Besides the actual injury, the other place this is going to hurt is the roster fringe. If the plan was to go with 2 catchers and move Lee, now they can't do that, and they have to keep all three catchers on the 40. Not good for guys like the Rule 5's and the extra OFs hoping to catch on.

Yeah, this goes back to the good faith. This really bad. There is "legal" and this is pissing down the legs of your peers.

And this is why you wait to do anything with Lee when he has zero trade value.

Especially since the reports are that they didn't seem to try to act in good faith. They waited to request records and they sure didn't try to negotiate a fix. It's also not their first time pulling a stunt like this. It might be "legal", but it sure seems to be unethical or immoral at best. It's definitely not going to do much for their standing or trust going forward with their peers who all seem to think this is BS.

This makes a lot of sense. Hard to release an evaluation of someone who isn't there.

White Sox lawsuit.
Especially considering the first freedom listed in the Declaration of Independence is quite literally LIFE, which is THEN followed by Liberty and Happiness. And if you don't think Thomas Jefferson put that first for a reason, you don't know Jeff.

Again, which is supposed to be easy if you want it to be.

Aren't you the one who tells us that you can pretty much fail anyone on a physical if you want to when it comes to pro athletes?

Teel injured in WBC - Grade 2 hamstring strain, out 4-6 weeks
When you are paying a game in spring at 100% versus the 80/90 percent happening in ST games, I would bet money that makes a difference. Can you say for sure it wouldn't have happened in Sox camp? No. But also, intensity does matter for those things.

Especially since it seems to indicate a good faith effort to "fix" whatever problem existed wasn't made.

They actually have a history of doing exactly this.

Do they stay or do they go?
The Rick Hahn treatment is still around apparently.

The injury wasn't the joke, he was mocking the current state of the White Sox.

Heyman mentions Sox interest in Conforto
Ah yes, love Americans who don't know our actual history.

White Sox lawsuit.
A million dead people IS the case. Civilization literally was established to stop people from killing each other. Modern civilization established that killing people by neglect is still killing people. It's why everyone over a certain age got a measles and smallpox shot, ending the hundreds of millions of deaths over history from those. Well we had until people started taking health advice from quacks and drug addicts.

White Sox lawsuit.
It's really not. Not allowing people to opt into killing other people is a hallmark of civilized society.

The Bears can make like 75 million in cap space if they want

But salary IS the point, as is age. Also this person literally can't find a regular starting job because of his defense.

What a mess. I wonder the Bears could still sneak in with a lesser offer?
