The Sox don't even need to "pass" the Cubs. Just building the fanbase past the leagues worst revenue generation machine has to happen. Building new fans has to happen. Getting people who show up for something other than playoff seasons has to happen. A new park in an active neighborhood with things to do will help immensely.

I have been pitching trying Sosa in LF for a while now, and ST is the perfect time to try.

Again, any sort of a follow up question about timelines or expectations would be great. 10 weeks puts us to June. Do we need an assignment to build innings after that? Would the bullpen actually be his ramp up, and only a few outings for some reality before the majors are needed? Is 2026 not in the cards at all? They already buried the lede that the 1st half of the season is out.
