Again, why anyone follows him is beyond me.

I mean I get that they need way more than that to make up for the $35 million already spent, but still, how this doesn't appeal to the White Sox is beyond me. Lord knows we have a million or two tickets we could still sell this year.

I talked about needing relievers for sure. I mean the pen, especially if they really do move Kimbrel needs some bridge work for sure. But the problem was they didn't spend anywhere else where they had just as big of needs.

To be fair, all of that is because of JR.

I have said exactly this about Conforto in the past, and can fully appreciate the logic there. But there were PLENTY of other RFs out there over the course of this off season, both through trades and the FA market. Even if the Sox really feel that Andrew Vaughn and Co can really fill RF, then they need to set an expectation with fans that this winter is over. Stringing them along with half hints and that kind of BS is giving oxygen and dead trees to a forest fire of anger.

Sadly I can only imagine what this means for Ukrainian casualties.

It is really hard to imagine a team in such a powerful position coming into the offseason having a much worst offseason without selling off the franchise players or something like that. I literally can't figure out what is going on in our front office right now.

Between this, his lack of a long term extension, his serving on the major league CBA negotiations group, and now this, I think you can start counting down on the Lucas Giolito tour.
