Last season of Shameless was decent. They found a solid note to end it on while staying true to the show. Also started The Good Place. First season was spectacular, but am in season 2 now, and it has lost something with the big reveal. Another one I don't think I have ever mentioned is Curse of Oak Island. Not quite sure why I still hang on, but have been fascinated by the story forever. I still watch knowing full well they will never find a treasure, but love the history that is found.

Well luckily MLB is more concerned about silencing minimal discent and not actually fixing the game, so I am sure there is plenty to "report" on. Except now they screwed the pooch and are the news. It would have attracted way less attention if they had left him alone.

The job is unique. The "rules" should reflect that, versus being PR people for MLB.

How many people's job is to objectively report on your company and bosses? This is way too simplified.

That's absurd. "Paying the correct price" is some Jerry Reinsdorf stuff which keeps us out of the top of the free agent market and signing the second tier guys.

So much for the idea that information is somehow neutral in all of this. Toe the MLB owner line, or get fired.

It SHOULD be done if it helps the franchise improve. "Buy low" is a non-sequitor.

I see the New Years drinking has started early

They finally got Betty White.

This year we didn't do the traditional gift thing. The kids all have birthdays in November and December too. So instead of doing all of those presents, we packed them up for a Disney trip the week before Christmas instead.

Literally was never said, but keep that space for me warm.

I stated what I thought was happening, but you didn't believe the reports and then tried to turn it into a "both sides" thing. And again, you are just making up things that no one is actually saying. I am talking about reports and news stories here, and you keep going off into the weeds.

Outrageous things. Like meeting and talking about the economic issues of the game. Whoa, that's crazy.

Well let me put it this way. There has been no communication between me and the team either. Typically I would have bought the holiday special they did with six tickets in a package for a huge discount to next years game. But with the players locked out, there was no way. I also told the family not to buy me any baseball stuff for the holidays. If they are locked out, I am locked out.

Seems like a total misunderstanding to me. The commish said anytime, any place, so this can't be true.
