Have you followed this topic at all? The players are saying exactly this. They owners aren't responding to proposals and are refusing to talk about economic topics. The news is out there, no idea why you are ignoring it.

Literally no one except you has said sit out the entire year. And what you have said about the players positions, speaks very clearly on what you think of it.

You said the players didn't have any real legitimate reasons to be fighting for more gains, and yet when shown exactly why, this is the reaction. Compensation is ALWAYS the number 1 issue. It's the number one issue here. It is the reason that the owners locked out the players. The owners do not want to give up the gains they have obtained over recent years. The players want to clawback some of what they have lost, and maybe even get a bigger piece of the pie then what they even historically had. The other things are derivations of the compensation issue. So wait, is it that the players aren't tough enough to wait out the owners, or are you actually trying to suggest that the players don't have a point in what they are pursuing? Because if it he the latter, Uncle Tom is probably too soft of a description of your stance.

You could look at this this way, but you could also do the same for the owners. Especially the guys that didn't get sweetheart deals from the state and have TONS of debt to pay off, such as our friends to the north, they have big bills to pay, even if the game isn't being played, after taking a pretty sizeable revenue hit in 2020. I am not sure the owners are in a much better place than the players.

If this were even remotely true, they would have caved to the owners demands months ago and avoided a lockout entirely.

Obviously I don't go back as far as you do, but this is about as bad of an era of Bears football as we have had in a long time. The franchise is a joke right now, both on the field and off of it.

Lovie Smith wasn't really, really bad. I know the Bears thought they needed someone to push them to the top levels, but they always had a great D, an offense that was good enough, and the players LOVED him. Heck even Trestman's era put up better numbers than this one.

I am genuinely curious how you come to that conclusion about Nagy. His teams haven't performed. He is routinely admitting to being wrong on his tough calls, and there is story after story about his losing the lockerroom. What are you seeing that everyone else is missing?

If you ACTUALLY believed what you were saying, you wouldn't waste a second on this franchise, otherwise you are even more gullible than the people you pretend to look down on.

Its one thing to quibble with individual moves. But to hold an Illuminati plotting against all Sox fans point of view, yet still be willing to spend time and effort on the organization, well let's just say you can't serve two masters.

I absolutely adore fans who take positions like this, yet still spend time and energy on this franchise. If you truly believe this, yet still put anything into it at all, YOU are the biggest dupe of all. Woke, bitter, and loyal is one heck of a mountain to die on.
