His profile doesn't make him a super sub kind of player, as he hasn't apparently shown the defensive versatility to do much else than 3b or 1b, you really don't have somewhere to put him.

Sure there are guys who have been better, but is Carlos Rodon really going to get millions of extra people tuning into the game? With no value on this game, the entire value becomes selling MLB to the rest of the world and the broadest audience possible. I imagine Rodon and Lynn understand that pretty well.
