  1. Would be sweet if someone recorded it and threw it up on YouTube.
  2. Indeed. Nice to see the Twins lose though.

I hope Sergio Mitre turns into Dontrelle Willis Part 2 because the Cubs traded him.
  4. Not anymore. Twinkies lose 6-3 to the Blue Jays!

Everyone likes to have a little Serbian in them sometimes.
  6. Tony Batista with a solo shot. 4-2 Blue Jays now. Twins have 2 innings to score.
  7. Bonds' leaked grand jury testimony is good enough for me.
  8. I thought he was going to report to Charlotte. He probably elected to become a free agent instead and wait for a major league job.
  9. A's acquire gay Japanese porn star RHP Kazuhito Tadano from Cleveland for Minor League outfielder Ramon Alvarado.
  10. Yep... Konerko Thome Gload Rogowski The road was pretty much a dead-end.
  11. You would be correct. We saw it last season. When he started going to RF for singles, he was/is a much better hitter. When he tries to pull everything, he grounds into a lot of double plays and pops out a lot.
  12. How many times did you see him hit 91 on the ballpark gun?

Pimpin' ain't easy if you're Timo Perez.
  14. That he does. He also strikes out a lot. But I'm we are both happy with Mack as our fourth outfielder instead of Timo.

  16. I've noticed before that the birthdates on Baseball-Reference.com are sometimes off by a year. Here's Freddy's WhiteSox.com profile... http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...layer_id=150119
  17. Bad example. The Royals are usually the type of team that does light him up, hehe... Freddy Garcia (career stats vs. Royals): 19 starts 8-7 record 112.0 IP 5.63 ERA 1.54 WHIP .313 BAA
  18. And I agreed. I just wanted to make it known that Freddy is closer to 30 than 28.
  19. Freddy will actually be 30 in three months, not that I think his age has anything to do with his velocity being down today. And I hope no one was saying we should trade Freddy now. I would definately consider trading Freddy after the season is over though.
  20. Everyone on the radio was saying that he may have put on a few pounds over the offseason. But I don't really see that accounting for a loss in velocity.
  21. I don't want to bang Rooney either but I listen to a lot of games on the radio. It would be nice to at least have some competent play-by-play. I don't even know what the hell is going on when Singleton is doing the play-by-play because he's so slow to spit it out. And Farmer is not a good play-by-play guy either. It just seems like such a hack-job to move a color man to do play-by-play (when he isn't very good at it) and then to hire a guy with no experience whatsoever to be your new color man. I could see this happening years ago but not after the team wins the World Series. The standards should have been much higher.
  22. What is the point of these posts? Just curious. If Contreras is only throwing in the high 80's tomorrow, would you be concerned about him? A horrible outing is one thing, losing 4 MPH of velocity is another. I wouldn't be concerned at all by Freddy's outing today if he was throwing 91-93 MPH.
