  1. Right, so he's no longer capable of being our biggest offensive threat, therefore we should stop paying and playing him like he is. Vaughn has more RBIs in 22 less games, I'm just sick of Jose getting a free pass, if he hits at team average with RISP this year this team is in 1st place.
  2. So the guy being paid to be your biggest "run producer" and "team leader" being 3rd in MLB in singles, hitting .227 with RISP, and ranked 38th in slugging percentage isn't a top 10 problem? We seem to only hold Menechino accountable for those issues. Say goodbye at season's end, slot Eloy and Vaughn where they belong at DH and 1B and the rest of those top 10 problems start to resolve themselves.
  3. Hoping he comes back strong early next year in a contract year, and is then dealt for prospects.
  4. If he actually does come back and the Sox are somehow still in this thing, I wonder if they push him back to the pen for the rest of the season.
  5. Not surprising, he hyperextends his left knee every time he lands, was only a matter of time before he tore something.
  6. I think you're counting 162 for this year when there's only been 116 played thus far, so that puts him at 79.7%. In comparison, Yoan Moncada has played 82.9% of games over that same period of time.
  7. TA has played 2 full seasons out of the last 5, not sure why he doesn't get the injury prone label he deserves.
  8. Dunn was at Houndstooth and drinking with Peavy every night of his run here, fuck that clown.
  9. And Tim Anderson is what exactly? He's looking more and more like a 2 tool player that doesn't have a position.
  10. Hah, as in the razor. See below if you'd like to experience the joy of pubic hair removal in song.
  11. Are you local guys getting these Venus pubic hair commercials or just us MLBTV users? They are frightening.
  12. and actually letting Stott figure it out in the bigs
  13. He's always going to be one of those "what if" guys for me. Never really able to put a full season of healthy playing time together and nearing 31 already. I was very excited for him to get some ABs this year after the power flashes last year, but TLR would rather play Leury.
  14. Didi Gregorius just released as well, having a putrid season, however still a better OPS than Legend.
  15. One would have to hope the silver lining is this. Rick knows this year is shot, that TLR walks at year end, and he gets a crack at a non-JR crony manager in the offseason. That being said, they still coulda been favorites for this division with a couple moves.
  16. Agreed, at the end of the day he's ineffective at his job and is trying to save face and should be fired, but the same could be said for essentially every decision maker in the organization.
  17. Rick is a joke, but he's part of a 4 headed monster of decision makers. He's certainly deflecting, but he's also giving the subtle reminder that he's feckless, IMO.
  18. It'd be nice if Rick comes out and finally admits that he's cock-less, is paid to be the Jerry Krause fall guy, and that he's resigning.
  19. MLB Network talking heads all pretty confounded by the lack of Sox moves.
  20. The venerable "Footlong Comiskey Dog" has been alluding to Rodon to Twins all morning on Twitter, actually kind of hope it happens so he and Correa can walk after they're swept in the first round.
