It used to be part of my job. Right now, I'm volunteering for political things mostly. I was a committee member of a Boy Scout troop for a while too. But right now, just trying to find things to get involved with here, at least where I can make a difference. It's been sort of difficult for me. When you move every few months, once you start to take root enough to know where you want to give - it's time to move again.

My experience comes mostly living in towns with Wally World and Meijer next to each other. Comparing the benefits offered by both, I much preferred Meijer. I don't live near a Wal-Mart at the moment. It makes "not shopping there" easy to do.

I never bashed Wal-Mart for charity spending. I'm glad they have decided to donate hundreds of millions of dollars to charity. I just wish they would treat their employees well.

Some of my best friends in Germany are evangelical born again Christians. I went to a wedding for one of them last year, and they did interrupt the service so someone could do an interpretive dance for Jesus. There really are people like the ones in Saved!. And they're my friends. Actually, Macaulay Caulkin has been in some damn funny movies. Anyone see Party Monster? Him and Seth Green as the gayest drug addicts you'd ever meet in your life. Dodgeball may have been the movie that made me stop being a Ben Stiller fan. He has amazing talents as a sketch comedian, but his movies are very hit or miss. In this case - Dodgeball was a big miss. Excited about the Life Aquatic.

I think I'd agree with you on this one. At first, I didn't like the trade much because I didn't know about the Podsednik Adventure's speed, then I liked it much more. I'm liking it less now because I'd like to see us get some talent that I'd like with the money that the Sox saved with the likes of Lee. I guess I like the trade, but I don't like like the trade. My car just hit 140,000 miles. And all I got was a bill for 450 dollars in repairs. I'd kick my car in protest, but it might shake the rust off thats holding it together. In fact, after the winter - I'm genuinely afraid to wash the car for that reason.
