I honestly don't know what to do with Moncada right now. He's killing them. If they can, a phantom IL stint followed by a long rehab stint in Charlotte might do him some good. Hopefully he can show something by the end of the season.

Moncada is broken.

When you're on a Major League contract like he is, you can't be sent down without being DFA. He's owed 47.6M over the next two years, so he's getting every opportunity to turn it around. They're not DFAing a 50+M contract over 2.5 years.

Samardzija, Shields, Frazier, Kimbrel, Hernandez. Hahn is terrible at buyer trades. He's been good(not great) at seller trades.

I think that the money allocation problem is coming from ownership because ownership would rather light $25M on fire than spend it on the rest of Bryce Harper's career. Hahn can only do what Jerry allows him to. That being said his trades are awful and he deserves to be fired.

I think his issue is lower body related. Power comes from the legs and hip rotation. Just one man's opinion.

He's been historically bad this year; worse than he was as a rookie. Has been solid for 3 years running. Almost has to be injured. No other plausible explanation. If he's not injured, we have to hope he finds it again.

I can't believe he's actually this bad at baseball. Averaged over 4 WAR/162 over the last 3 seasons. He has to be playing very injured.

BTW I think the wheels are about to come off for Giolito. He has a 1.41 WHIP.
