Nice win for FAU tonight. As a Miami fan, Schnellenberger is always a fan favorite. 6-0 all time in bowl games in his career. Not really looking forward to the game tomorrow night. Going across country to play a good Cal team. Ugh.

I usually love watching the Hawaii Bowl but Hawaii screwed things up this year.

I understand Gil wanting to move to a BCS conference and he deserves to do so. But I wouldnt go to Iowa State if I was him. He may win there but chances are he wont just because of no one has won there in a long time. Nebraska is coming back, Kansas and Missouri are solid programs now, K-State should get better and we all know about the schools in Texas and Oklahoma. Plus Iowa State is second fiddle to Iowa. He should stay at Buffalo for another season or two and wait and keeping winning so better options open up for him.

other than the title game, these BCS bowls are weak. OSU/Texas in the Fiesta. Been there, done that. I guess this can be the rubber match... Alabama/Utah. Yawn USC/Penn State see last year's Rose Bowl Cincy/VT. another yawner. Hopefully the Big East loses so I can hate on that conference even more. The best bowls will be the "second tier" ones as usual.

Nice win by the Buckeyes over my Canes tonight. While McClinton being stupid hurt big time, we still had a 14? pt lead at the break. Bad second half perimeter defense killed us but OSU still had to make the shots and they did. Plus OSU still made shots while up 1-3pts in the final minutes, on the road which isnt easy to do against what I still think is the 3rd or 4th best ACC team. Gotta give credit where its due and OSU showed a lot tonight and was impressive. I thought we were finally gonna pull away at 48-40 but those f***ers kept answering. Congrats Rock.
