  6. QUOTE (sunofgold @ Oct 8, 2011 -> 04:35 PM) How about Frank Thomas as a hitting coach. I thought that he said in an interview that he would do it. Also, that move would get a lot of support from White Sox fans. For bench coach, how about Fisk? I know that "no experience" again. But, catchers seems to make good coaches/manager. And again a fan favorite. Frank was a great hitter but frank's hitting style ain't for everyone, remember walt wriniak was frank's mentor and walt's style ain't for everyone
  7. Parent as a back up catcher sould have some good knowledge which will help, still they need a veteran coach, but who? Who will be willing to come in and not be the manager and just a young manager
  8. Don't know if this was posted if it was I'm sorry. Olberman on Ventura http://keitholbermann.mlblogs.com/2011/10/...w-leads-batmen/ Ohhh and who is the chick in the pics?
  9. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Oct 7, 2011 -> 01:01 PM) bob nightengale suggested Paul Molitor If anything I hope molitor would be hitting coach
  10. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Oct 6, 2011 -> 09:40 PM) Cowley saying that Cooper is a problem. He says Cooper being around is why any big name would say no to the Sox. What happened to Daryl Boston, or the Sun Times breaking the story of Dave Martinez, who didn't even interview? Of course, Oney re tweeted it. I read either Laker or Manto as the hitting coach and they are seeking permission from another team to bring in a bench coach. Supposedly the entire staff should be in place Tuesday. Why is Cooper the problem?
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 6, 2011 -> 09:27 PM) I sure hope Ventura doesn't try to pull a pitcher and signal for a lefty instead of a righty...oops! LOL Classic
  12. Looks like Ventura' got a lot of the players respect, that's a good start
  13. Come to think about it, this was set already, anyone remember early in the season when robin was around the cell? And was named roving instructor or something? I think they knew then that Ozzie was gonna be let go to Florida.

  18. QUOTE (SOXOBAMA @ Sep 28, 2011 -> 02:37 PM) I was hoping that the Sox were going to replace him, with someone like Blackjack McDowell You do know that hawk and the chairman are tight right?
  19. Well Kenny has to be held accountable, nice way to man up tho. I think JR is the problem here somewhat. He could save if he spends on development. In the long run you stock up and eventually compete again
  20. s*** forgot I can get the Toronto radio feed in Rochester
  21. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Sep 27, 2011 -> 09:19 PM) Umps being civil with the Sox? At least we don't have to worry about cowboy Joe west anymore....
