  1. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 12, 2008 -> 06:10 AM) So my friend is throwing a weekend party at her lake house this weekend, free beer and free food. Does it get better than that? Perhaps if there were strippers involved.
  2. Milton Bradley Hunts Down Royals' Analyst.
  3. QUOTE (G&T @ Jun 11, 2008 -> 05:21 PM) Goes to Chicago and orders corn. OK. And doesn't like Best Kosher? First, I think Best Kosher is better, second, can't you get Vienna at the Cell? I believe it's Ball Park.
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 10, 2008 -> 08:03 PM) Anyone know how serious the Pujols injury is from tonight? Cardinals just being decimated with injuries, especially with their ace out now also. BBTN reported it was probably just re-strained the calf that gave him some problems earlier this season, but no word on to how long he could be out.
  5. QUOTE (Shadows @ Jun 9, 2008 -> 11:11 PM) There is everything wrong with that Correction, theres a problem with fat chicks. No problem at all with healthy chicks.
  6. QUOTE (The Critic @ Jun 9, 2008 -> 07:18 PM) Mickie's getting a bit of a belly. Cena's making her soft. Mickie's always been a bit thick... and there's nothing wrong with that.
  7. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 9, 2008 -> 07:02 PM) They don't have the criminal records that Cedric does though. Perfect fit. Ah, but Cedric isn't any good....that's the catch.
  8. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 9, 2008 -> 07:27 PM) Everyone enter to win part of the cash? I entered, gotta pay that college tuition.
  9. Why? P.S. Did Avery Johnson piss someone off in order for his name not to be mentioned period these days?
  10. QUOTE (3E8 @ Jun 8, 2008 -> 11:03 PM) Check out Wale's 'Mixtape About Nothing'. Yes, a hip-hop mixtape inspired by Seinfeld. Sounds super-gimmicky, but I'm really digging it. Wale has nice flow. The opening track has "What's the deal with.." verses a la Jerry's act. The other tracks have clips and themes from the show Listen/Free Download Good to see other people aware of Wale.
  11. Garza had every right to tee off on Navarro, you don't show up your pitcher in front of everyone. You wait until the you guys get to the dugout or clubhouse to say something.
  12. QUOTE (The Critic @ Jun 8, 2008 -> 08:02 AM) So they announced the two trainers for Hogan's Celebrity Wrestling show. Here comes NO surprise at all...... They are....... Brutus Beefcake and Brian Knobbs!!! Also, three more "celebrities" have been announced: Butterbean - has been involved with WWE before Dennis Rodman - has been involved with wCw before Danny Bonaduce - follows video cameras like a moth to a flame This should be "Can't-Watch TV" for sure. From the Wikipedia Page: Contestants * Danny Bonaduce - The Partridge Family, Breaking Bonaduce * Todd Bridges - Diff'rent Strokes * Butterbean - Professional Super-Heavyweight boxer, kickboxer and mixed martial artist * Trishelle Cannatella - reality television star and Playboy model * Dustin Diamond - Good Morning, Miss Bliss/Saved by the Bell * Erin Murphy - Bewitched * Dennis Rodman - Former professional basketball player * Frank Stallone - actor and singer who has been in four of the six Rocky films staring his brother, Sylvester. * Tiffany - 1980s singer teen pop star * Nikki Ziering - Playboy model
  13. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Jun 8, 2008 -> 12:15 AM) for all the injuries and other reasons this turned out to be an entertaining card. Alves was WAY too big for Hughes to have much of a shot. If he tried to cut and got to 174 he has to be around 180-185 when the fight started. I think Rogan mentioned that he walks around at about 190 regularly. Either way, another poor showing for Hughes and as an anti-Hughes guy I could care less.
  14. Hughes TKO'd in the 2nd round...well I guess he's got that fight with Serra to look forward to. Bisping again....VERY dominant. Swick with a nice victory. Marquardt and Leites had the fight of the night, but if Dean doesn't call that elbow to the "back of the head" Nate wins, they've gotta have a rematch. Dan Miragliotta must of thought he was still in New Jersey due to the premature stoppage of the Vera/Werdum fight. Entertaining card overall.
  15. QUOTE (shipps @ Jun 7, 2008 -> 03:46 PM) Just had a pretty embarassing moment here at work.I was explaining to a coworker in detail about a hot girl that was just at my desk and after explaining I turn in my swivel chair and she is at my desk again. She knew I was talking about her I was telling him in detail of what her outfit was and how it fit.Man she had a weird look on her face. So what ended up happening after that?
  16. QUOTE (daa84 @ Jun 7, 2008 -> 12:18 PM) btw i love any of free credit report.coms jingles...those are so bad they are good...like the red roof inn one F-R-E-E spells freecreditreport.com baby.
  17. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Jun 7, 2008 -> 10:54 AM) UFC on PPV tonight or in the afternoon. Since it is in England they will show it live and then on tape delay. Not the greatest name card, but still a chance for some good fights. The Vera/Werdum fight is interesting, winner of that will be pushed in the HW division. Hughes/Alves is main-event, Alves weighed in at 174, but Hughes took the fight anyway. Card got destroyed with numerous injuries, was supposed to be headlined by Liddell/Shogun, then Liddell/Evans, Bisping/Leben was suppose to happen put Leben had to do some jail for a probation violation. So not the greatest card on paper, but worth getting if you can get 4 people to pitch in or go to a bar. Me and a couple of buddies are gonna grill and check it out...agreed on the not the best card on paper, but it's a Saturday afternoon and not much else going on.
  18. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jun 6, 2008 -> 09:15 PM) You know he wants to be better then him. What do you want him to say- I want to be better then Jordan and I think I am? Well of course, I don't think you go into the NBA thinking "I wanna be the 2nd best to ever play."
  19. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jun 6, 2008 -> 04:31 PM) So, yet again, never compare the 2. Once again, it seems that whenever people try to discredit Kobe the phrase "he's not better than MJ" is thrown out there. Kobe said in an interview himself last week that he wanted nothing to do with being compared to MJ. I know MJ is the best to ever play the game and with Kobe being the best there is currently, the comparisons are gonna happen. People like Mark Jackson will even tell you that Kobe's better, personally I think that's because MJ had some of his best moments against teams Jackson was on, but that's another story. So believe me, i'll never compare the 2.
  20. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jun 6, 2008 -> 04:17 PM) LOL, was I the only one who saw double teams, slide overs to make sure MJ didn't take the shot? Kobe was in a 1-on-1 yesterday, and couldn't do anything with it. As being a HUGE Jordan homer, I don't like the Kobe=Jordan talk as much as anybody. But I think some of the MJ homers on the board have to consider that Kobe is probably the best player in the game currently, and everyone has an off night. The man has 24 points and now it's as if he's all of a sudden overrated.
  21. My real question is when will Paxson and Co. get their s*** together and stop messing around and actually pull a trigger on something.
  22. QUOTE (The Critic @ Jun 6, 2008 -> 11:37 AM) The guy who played Harvey Wippleman would be perfect - I wonder if he kept in touch with Hasbeen Hogan over the years? I'm sure he'd get Brutus Beefcake to do it, he's always keeping that clown around.
  23. QUOTE (Shadows @ Jun 5, 2008 -> 11:20 PM) I doubt they lose game 2 at home... I also doubt Kobe will miss as many open shots as he did tonight, this series is going 1-1 back to LA. Book it.
  24. QUOTE (Shadows @ Jun 5, 2008 -> 09:41 PM) lol, Celtics are gonna sweep You're obviously on some sort of drug. If the Celtics couldn't sweep any team in the east, what makes you think they can sweep the best team in the better conference.
