QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jul 11, 2008 -> 08:54 PM) THIS.TEAM.IS.DEAD. As usual, you're the first to declare this team is horrible. The act is getting a bit old.

QUOTE (jackie hayes @ Jul 11, 2008 -> 04:51 PM) New on rotoworld! This is awesome. "They would rather trade him or make him Aaron Rodgers' backup." Priceless. I agree with this move.

Matt Jones busted for cocaine possession, and Travis Henry fails ANOTHER drug test....you would think a guy with 9 kids with 9 different women would learn to grow up sometime. -

Eh, isn't it past their time to try and "rekindle" this? -
IIRC, I think I read that Raw will be at the Allstate the night after Summerslam...I think I may go and hopefully see Punk as the champ still.

QUOTE (knightni @ Jul 10, 2008 -> 04:58 PM) Milton Bradley's replacing Ortiz. Bradley was already voted in by the players, Francona still has to name a replacement I believe.

QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 9, 2008 -> 09:01 PM) I liked how it switched moods in the middle. This killed the movie for me, it felt like the rest of the movie was spent trying to justify the twist and it suffered from it, IMO.

QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Jul 7, 2008 -> 06:56 PM) im watching the Red Sox/Twins game on ESPN right now, and they were discussing Varitek in the all-star game when Steve Phillips spits out this gem: ".....and AJ Pierzynski's offensive numbers support that he should be in the all-star game, but the all-star game isnt all about offensive numbers. the Catcher position is different than any other position, and I think people recognize how well Varitek handles Matsuzaka and this young Red Sox pitching staff." Are you f***ing kidding me? Does Phillips even watch the game? is he aware of how good the White Sox pitching staff is, and how young it is, and how well Pierzynski handles it? Every time i think Phillips cant top himself with something stupid coming out of his mouth, he does. Ah, good ol' fashioned Red Sox slurping on ESPN...can't beat it.

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jul 6, 2008 -> 06:20 PM) They say there is no way the Brewers can extend him during the season. He wants the Yankees to be able to bid and bid they will. I'm just glad we are done with him for a while. I read that he preferred to go to the NL so he can hit.

I've voted 21 times already, you wanna vote too you say? Well click my signature.

QUOTE (SoxFan101 @ Jul 6, 2008 -> 02:56 AM) you were way off on your winners and way of how the fight was won too lol. On another note this was the first time I actually watched a real UFC event and I think Im a new fan. Tell me about it, good thing I didn't put money down otherwise i'd be a angry man. Great main event regardless, and good to see that it was able to recruit a new fan.

I thought I read last night that it would most likely be AJ, Dye and Quentin.

Can't wait for tonight, should be a good card. Predictions: Rampage over Forrest, TKO in the 2nd Almeida over Cote, submission in 2nd Stevenson over Tibau, unanimous decision Koscheck over Lytle, TKO in the 3rd Aurelio over Griffin, Submission in the 2nd.

QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 4, 2008 -> 01:37 PM) I read North was on with Mac, Jurko, and Harry a few days ago. That would of been kind of surreal if I heard it. If they could ditch the Bristol talk from Noon-2pm, North would be a good fit there. Only two hours a day. 4 hours was way too much and got stale. Also a good lead in for MJ&H. Just a thought. I listened, I would of preferred that we get Van Pelt's show for that half an hour that day...only because I like Van Pelt's show.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jul 3, 2008 -> 05:45 PM) JD and Buehrle for me.

Saw Hancock tonight, still not sure how I really feel about the movie. It was enjoyable and moved quick....but still trying to piece things together.

Hooray for more Pablo, let's finish the job tonight boys.

I'm so glad the IC title match against Bret Hart from SummerSlam '91 is gonna be on there, this should be a good one.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 30, 2008 -> 08:50 PM) I'm taking it that Punk is supposed to go over JBL tonight after a "cheap" win. By the way, what's the story of why this match is happening(other than Punk winning the title)? Who set it up? I've been watching the Sox games. JBL claims since he's a man with money, he's got the power. Since McMahon went down last week, that makes him the man in charge. Him being in charge he wants the first title shot.

QUOTE (Fotop @ Jun 30, 2008 -> 02:51 PM) NCAA Football 2009 comes out fairly soon (July 15th, I believe). Downloaded the demo on Xbox Live the other day and played for a bit, seemed pretty cool. Per usual, this will feed my college football fix for the next two months until the season gets in swing. Oh yeah, online dynasties this year look like a really cool idea. Maybe a soxtalk dynasty if it works well and folks are into it? I'd definitely be down for something like that. But this will only wet my appetite until Madden drops

*sighs* I could of guessed Seinfeld would be #1...I guess i can't complain too much since it appeared on my list...pleasant surprise to see AD that high.

I marked HARD when Punk's music hit, I just hope they dont cheapen his title run. Now Santino with some mic time...this night gets better and better.
