  1. I've mentioned this before, but in the 250 or so games LaRussa has managed, can you think of 1 where he outmatched his counterpart?? I cannot.
  2. Jimenez I. LF, Pollock in CF, VVaughn in RF, everyone except one particular HOF baseball person knows what is going to happen.
  3. Sox hitters want to get this game finished.
  4. This game is on LaRussa, and if nothing is done after this loss, that will tell you winning is not a top priority.
  5. Of course they have. Cleveland scouted it and has taken advantage.
  6. Tony uses Ruiz here because no other manager would. The guy is aa dope. Fire his ass.
  7. They have gone from one of the most fun teams to watch, to totally boring at a speed almost never seen before. Probably only the Marlins dismantling their WS teams was faster, but that was on purpose.
  8. How did JR miss what Tony did to the DBacks?
  9. I told you this when they brought him back. Ron Kittle actually once played CF.
  10. An OF of Jimenez, Pollock and Vaughn is begging the baseball Gods for trouble.
  11. Sure why not, but...we all knew what the Sox needed. First, another starter as for some reason they didn't even want a draft pick for Rodon. So they get Velasquez. They need a 2B. So Big Energy gets the call. They are very right handed and need someone who rakes RHP. Pollock is their answer. They need more bullpen help. How about an injured Joe Kelly. Teana sign guys that don't work out all the time, yet you could see the logic in their signings. These work out just like anyone would have expected. It should cost multiple people their jobs.
  12. Rick Hahn had about as bad of an offseason as any executive has ever had that thought they were playing for multiple championships. Only Lance Lynn's knee saved him from total failure as he lucked into Cueto. Clean house JR. You are farther along than the Bulls. Hiring someone who knows what they are doing can get you back on track next year. But Rick ,Kenny and Tony have to go bye bye.
  13. This team sleepwalks through so many games, and no one is ever held accountable. Gee, I wonder why it keeps happening?
  14. The sad part is the Sox are going to be stuck with him next year.
  15. We will never know for sure what would have happened, but if he did what he did that was a DP and would have saved a run.
  16. Pitching to this guy is interesting especially since you're conceding the run anyway.
  17. Except for the leadoff single in the 1st and the Homer, the exit velos have been pretty soft.
  18. 4 runs won't win this game, but Clev might have 10 by the 4th inning.
  19. A lot of Jesus advertising at the ballpark.
