Schriffen had time off at least 3 times. 2 for Ultimate Fighting, and one for Summer League basketball. At least Jason is doing big time stuff, and is quite good away from Steve.

Mike Shirley will be the scouting director as long as Getz is around. He's the scout that signed him. You can't complain about his first rounders yet. But it would be nice to see the Sox develop multiple contributors from the same draft. Their 2nd round history has to be the worst in the sport.

The problem is, we won't know if this guy is any good for probably 6 or 7 or 8 years.

Personally, the all time record for losses in a season matters to me. I also think it matters to 99.99% of White Sox fans. Maybe not you, but you haven't made sense in quite a while. Kudos to you for listening to your idol and embracing the worst record of all time.

All I know is anyone could have built the worst team of all time under those circumstances. If you can't do better than the worst team of all time, you shouldn't hold the job.

That's crazy. Listen to Schriffen. The starting rotation is stacked. The bullpen is fixed. Sosa, Vargas and Ramos are future stars. Benintendi and Vaughn have it figured out. La Pantera is sure to bounce back. Fletcher has earned RF. Korey Lee is another future star. If Montgomery can play replacement level, the playoffs should be a lock.

Why do you hold water for a front office that has put together the worst team of all time? They are already 26 losses above your preseason projection with 6 to play. So even sucking that is taking a team you expect to win 90 games and having them lose 100. CHRIS GETZ SUCKS.

I just hope the 2005 roster makes JR pay for their appearances. The Sox will be trotting them everywhere to make money next year. I hope the WS champions make sure they are paid correctly for their appearances.

Maybe they have Costanza in charge and he wants to be the head scout of the NY Mets. They have an opening.

Congrats to JR and Chris Getz for accomplishing something only one other team has been able to accomplish , an expansion team 62 years ago. They did this without even trying to be this horrible. Many others have tried, but failed. I hope they are very proud.

Throw out their records against the White Sox, KC, Minnesota and Detroit are all below .500. This happens another year or 2 some teams will start complaining about the White Sox.

I half watched this game and Schriffen was on fire tonight as the chooch he is. Pregame he yelled Flexen has his curve all working. He hadn’t throw a pitch yet. Then he said the Sox were playing the Dodgers. And the said the bullpen has become a team strength. EIther he is just a clueless f***, or thinks his audience is beyond stupid.

I hope Wolkow is a stud. It would be nice if the Sox finally developed a player that wasn’t supposed to be good when acquired. And I know he is young for his level, but there aren’t too many productive MLB players that had over a 40% k rate in A ball.

I know Michael did at one time. But he is just like his dad with the Bulls, if not worse.
