Twins @ Sox 1:10 WGN Odorizzi vs Giolito
He's just about exactly the same as he's always been, except with more walks.

Exactly. Same philosophy as always. Either they are going to use him against Lavine or they are trying to get to a roster that might make the second round of the playoffs and that's good enough for them. I don't know what the deal is with Rodney Hood. Everyone seems to love him, and when he has a horrible game, everyone makes excuses for him.,

**President Trump 2018 Thread**
“He felt confident in me to make the right choice and carry on his great legacy,” Trump, visibly energized, told a packed arena in Fargo. “That’s why he did it … Justice Kennedy is a star.”

Russia says it did no meddling, that's good enough for Trump. The crooked and shady FBI and CIA need to be investigating Hillary. FBI, CIA, Canada, EU....bad. NK, Russia, good.

Dunning Results...
A sprain is technically a tear or a stretch I believe, so when he recovers, something will need to change or it seems rather likely the situation will occur again.

Sarah Sanders denied food
The stock market was 152 points away, one decent day, from tripling under Obama’s presidency. Yet, according to the right he was one of the worst presidents of all time. There will most likely be a recession under Trump. That is just historical odds. How bad it will be is the question. Trump has everyone believing the election he won by having over 3 million less votes than his opponent was a historic landslide victory. It really wasn’t. Personally, I think dems need to win some of these midterms or he will go unchecked for a couple more years due to republicans being scared of him. But the next presidential election is going to come down to MI,WI, OH, FL, just like this last one. I just hope dems have a candidate who can relate and flip those states. I think Bill Maher is a little out there on several things. But I agree with him on at least one thing. If Trump loses the next election, getting him out of the White Hiuse is going to be a tall task. He won’t voluntarily leave. He was already calling the last election a fraud and he won. Things might be really ugly in January 2021.

You are under their trance. It's amazing you don't see all the lies and hypocrisy coming from Trump and your new hero Sarah. If she treats people like she would like to be treated, getting thrown out of a restaurant should be right up her alley. Have you seen her with the press?

The Korea Situation; It's Very Serious
The Art of the Deal. Total denuclearisation , sleep easy tonight. No threat. Where is Trump's ticker tape parade? North Korea is carrying out rapid improvements to its nuclear research facility, a monitor said on Wednesday, despite declaring a commitment to denuclearisation of the peninsula at the Singapore summit.

She broke ethics laws tweeting it Greg. And do you really think she had no idea what Trump would do? It's absurd to think no.

It really does make sense. Especially considering the max guys don't take forever to sign.

She played the victim quite well. Couldn't wait to tell everyone. Had her boss put the place down as a pig sty yet all he claimed it to be was, once again, false. The guy that cries fake news, fake news more than anyone says more fake things than everyone.

That signing was always curious to me. I think it is the thing that scares me most about this "rebuild." They seem to think they can make stars out of guys who can't be stars. I know $8 million a year isn't star money, but it's certainly a great wage for the Felicio family, and seems to imply they were going to make him better than he could be. Then reality hit. It seems most guys in the NBA don't improve all that much after they have been around for a couple years. Even if they are still like 22 years old.

2018-2019 Official NBA thread
I don't think they are signing anyone this year, at least that is what Friedell thought. At least not a max guy unless Lebron gave them a call. Maybe next year, but anyone hanging their hopes on the Bulls signing a max guy hasn't been paying attention. And they seem to have soured on LeVine. He was a stud with a shredded knee when they acquired him, and now not much after easing his way into 24 games. Yet Chandler Hutchinson was on their radar when he was coming off the bench for Boise State, stinking up the place as a sophomore. If LeVine isn't what they claimed he was during his rehab, their trade of Butler leaves a lot to be desired.. Now they want to sneak into the playoffs like they did when they gave DWade a boatload of money. It seems clownish most of the time when people rail on management about being all about money, especially teams like the Bulls who print money, but it does seem the Bulls are scared a few years of losing now will destroy their bottom line and kill some sponsorships.

LAL have space for 2 max guys, the Bulls have space for 2 max guys. Where will the max players go? Sorry GarPax, you get the Carlos Boozer/Ron Mercer consolation prize. We have seen it so many times, I don't know how anyone can really expect anything else. Cap space has meant nothing to the Bulls.

I'll believe the Bulls will sign 1 max guy, let alone 2, when they actually do it. I think the White Sox have a better shot of signing Machado and Harper this offseason than that happening.

Yes, I don't know if he can coach at the NBA level or not, but they haven't really provided him with much of a chance to find out.

2018-2019 Official NBA thread
I was watching Nick Friedell yesterday. He claims Pax wants to make the playoffs this year, which would be at best a 7 or 8 seed, and if they are not at least close to making them, Hoiberg may get canned. So the goal is NBA hell, unless someone like Lebron falls into their lap, which is never going to happen. The other thing that was beyond bizarre, is Hutchinson's claim the Bulls were all over him since he was a sophomore, back when he was averaging 6 pts a game and hitting 23% of his 3s in an average at best conference. Nothing like locking in. I guess Boise State's coach and Hoiberg are buddies. Will Boise State be the new Iowa State for the Bulls?

Why do you think Trump is going to make you rich? Unless you already are, he isn’t going to help you. Sure you got a slight tax cut, put you will more than pay for it eventually.

Trump in a fundraising letter is now calling dems bullies., using this as one example. Just another time he accuse s others of exactly what he does.

I get the whole argument, but an argument could be made Teump has lived his entire life doing this with no consequences. What he and his people do is bully. What deters bullies is fighting back. I understand it isn’t a great look, and understand it sort of normalizes the behavior, but the behavior with complete surrender has also been normalized. i wouldn’t have refused her service, but can understand why she was.

I'm not saying messing with her food is OK. I think it's disgusting and should be considered, if it is not, a crime. But I would bet it's happened. It's happened to a lot of people. Probably most of us at least once.

Baseball in Trouble per USA Today
But it's been mentioned before the TV money bubble is about to burst. Whether that is true or not, we will find out probably pretty soon. And to me, it's harder to develop a baseball nut on TV alone. Even if you go to one or two games a year, when you're a kid, you live for that. Never going, IMO, would lose a lot of would be fanatics. Time also matters like you mentioned. Especially when teams are bad. The only reason I would ever leave a game before it ended was rain delays. Other than that, I had never left before the end, except maybe once or twice because it was 13 innings or something, and I had to be somewhere else. The last couple of years , that has changed. I am not going to sit there 3 and a half hours when the Sox are losing 10-2.
