  1. Trump said he was the reason the show was a success. He won't be happy with this news. Another conspiracy I suppose. I'm sure there are many fine racists. BTW, not the first time Roseanne compared a black woman to an ape on twitter. Called Susan Rice one in 2013.
  2. I am all for no one having a gun, but I realize that is not a realistic dream. All I know is when the NRA has Pence speak, and wants to make sure no one gets shot, they check for guns at the door. They do the same at Trump rallies. Both places, their "good guys" would outnumber their "bad guys" by quite a large margin, however, they don't use the more good guys with guns just keeps the bad guys away theory there. It's for kids in schools. No one has a gun, no one gets shot.
  3. What is the deal with Trump supporters? One of the more famous, Rosanne Barr tweeted this about Valerie Jarrett "muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj, Why would anyone think that would be a good idea to put out to everyone?
  4. He was pretty buried with the Sox and they probably wanted to do him a solid. He's an 0-8 away from hitting .267 with Milwaukee, so the HOF is still a ways away for him.
  5. It doesn't make sense. More players are available the higher you pick.
  6. Easy money. It's just given away to someone of my intellect.
  7. And the first thing they did when they acquired him was send him to AAA. It's Greensox.
  8. I called the Cleveland /GS final before the season started. I also have GS winning it all. I am clearly not a pleb.
  9. I also think Duquette and Buck are both gone in Baltimore before the season ends. As many train wrecks as there are in MLB right now, that situation is going to wind up the biggest.
  10. Renteria has been a major league coach or manager for 10 seasons. The teams he was with had 1 winning season out of 10. I'm not goofy enough to think this roster should win, and probably bringing someone else in before they are good enough to win will put a black stain on that individual. I just think all the Ricky is the best guy for this team talk even when they are ready to compete isn't really based on anything of substance. I am sure he's a great guy with a lot of energy. I am sure most players really like him. That doesn't make him championship manager material. I think a lot of his reputation is Cubs related.Everyone felt sorry for him when he was let go. They made it seem like the stars were aligned so properly, and that was the only reason he was let go. The Cubs went out of their way to get Maddon. They saw the issues. His bullpen usage was questioned. He obviously loves the bunt. In no way am I blaming him for the White Sox sucking. But I do think they have to make a change by the time they are not sucking or they are going to pay for it.
  11. It wasn't the first time for Baez.
  12. Rick Renteria is Spanish for Buddy Bell, He isn’t going anywhere any time soon, but he should. Even his rule rule which I agree, run the ball out or sit, if the Sox get to where they want to be, he loses leverage. It is easy to enforce on young guys trying to establish themselves while playing games where it doesn’t matter if you win or lose. Once they start to contend, it isn’t like he can bench Moncada in the first inning because he half assed it down the line on a routine grounder to 2B.
  13. Trump makes Memorial Day all about Trump, Cadet Bone Spurs. Nice! Happy Memorial Day! Those who died for our great country would be very happy and proud at how well our country is doing today. Best economy in decades, lowest unemployment numbers for Blacks and Hispanics EVER (& women in 18years), rebuilding our Military and so much more. Nice! 7:58 AM · May 28, 2018
  14. For a guy who cannot hit, Gonzalez cannot catch.
  15. Palka may be the worst defensive OF I have ever seen on a MLB field.
  16. Dylan Covey wears the highest number for a pitcher in White Sox history.
  17. Baltimore is 17-36 with Machado. They will lap the field in the race to the first pick once they trade him.
  18. The Indians finally got Altuve out. He had 10 hits in a row.
  19. They are physical errors. More and more reps. I have no idea if his thumb has anything to do with it It was always a question whether he could remain a SS. Range obviously isn't an issue. Maybe throwing accurately and picking up grounders as is to be expected from an MLB SS is. I didn't see the game yesterday. He seemed to be doing pretty well with the glove after a tough start. Sometimes errors just happen, and double errors are usually the result of trying to make something out of nothing to make up for the first gaffe. The Sox have all the time in the world for him. We will l ow whether or not he should be a SS by the time they are ready to won.
  20. How is one booted grounder and 2 bad throws of the mental variety?
  21. The more likely case of doping are your Jose Abreu related posts the last several years. It is just amazing how bad he has made you look, but you refuse to let go, and he makes you look even worse.
  22. If Torres and Eloy dominate MLB the next 10 years, is Theo still a genius? Torres is on fire. 21 years old, misses a year hurt and he owns the AL.
  23. It fascinates me how careful teams are with him. His entire offensive game is a walk, let him hit it, it won’t hurt you.
  24. Perhaps. They are going to give him every possible chance, as they should, , but the Sox have released plenty of guys 23 years old or younger in their history that threw 91. He is getting an opportunity not a lot get. It’s fine that he is, but I just think it’s a very real possibility it isn’t going to get better to the point where it is at least good enough. He has had his moments. When he throws strikes consistently he generally performs well even if the advanced metrics aren’t impressive. I went to a game last year and saw him warming up snapping off unhittable curveballs. But you don’t see those in the game. Maybe it’s in his head, and he needs a sports psychologist. I am pretty sure the Sox have one on stand by. He is a huge guy. The bigger you are the harder it is to repeat your mechanics. Maybe that is the issue. My problem is it seems so far from being acceptable. It isn’t like he is just missing, or had a call or two go against him. There is very little to hang your hat on with him. Rizzo may be an ass, but he is known as a guy who doesn’t get held up in trades. Seems like he might have been right on with Gio. We will see. I think the air is out of the excitement bag.
