Chris Getz told us Eder was close to the big leagues this last offseason. If he's close, the farm may be worse than we think.

I’d like to see them oromote Jirscele and let him grow into the job. JR isn’t going to pay for a top manager. So let Jirschel manage. Let him make mistakes when it doesn’t matter. See if he becomes a good manager, instead of waiting until the team may be relevant and hiring a guy like Pedro who aces interviews but sucks when it’s time to do the job.

And the mental errors they made all of last year are still being made. Not paying attention to baseunners, poor baserunning, terrible relays….its obviously not all Pedro’s fault, but it’s also obvious he is a bad manager.

JR might be pacing. I’m sure the plan was for Siroka to pitch well enough to trade for a prospect the Sox can trade for Cash considerations down the road.
