Right now he isn’t doing anything right. What really concerns me is when he was drafted he was thought to be very advanced, and selective. The first time I saw him bat in a spring training game, he only swung at strikes. He seemed destined to be a 90 plus a year walk guy, high OBP and big power. The two scouting reports I read were he was the second coming of Goldschmidt, and another said he was Konerko on steroids. He’s nor even Lamar Johnson on steroids.

We were told that is why these guys would be much better than people think. What a mess. I just wish there was someone JR would listen to who could tell him hey either you need to change your ways or take the tax hit and sell the team. I’ll leave the Bulls for Bulls fans , although I’m pretty sure they feel the same.

I saw that as well. I had the same thought. This guy doesn’t seem too bothered about being so bad. I’m not saying go try to get into a fight or anything, but instead of laughing and joking while you’re getting your ass kicked, show some intensity.

Cairo wasn’t bad. He had them winning, and then they had to beat Cleveland head to head. Lost the first game and packed it in.

It was ridiculous bringing him out this inning. The game was over why waste his limited pitches on bad outings?

I saw a clip of him the other day beating out a little roller to 3B. His sprint speed to first was a little over 30 feet a second. The announcer said he can still fly "when he wants to". I'm glad his legs apparently are healthy, but he doesn't appear to be aging well. What happened to the power. He looks as strong as ever.

At this point, TA is all talk. Of course he's hurt the Sox let him go. It already cost him $8 million. And extensions? That looks like it may have been worse than Benentendi. Not given him one seems pretty smart now. I used to just love this guy, but he really just needs to shut up at this point and look in the mirror. The team he is on now isn't doing very well either.

Can't blame him for all the losses, but he's a bad manager. It's so obvious. What has he ever shown during a game that makes anyone think he could be OK, forget elite? Why go on when it's a perfect time to let a guy the organization is very high on a shot, when he doesn't have to be perfect?

I'm just wondering where he's going to play. Benintendi is playing because JR is paying. Fletcher in CF, and Grossman in RF. Sheets will probably get OF reps with Eloy back. Even in Pillar is cut, he ain't playing.
