If a couple of them didn't go down, they probably don't sign Pham who has made up for what was lost for some of it. It wasn't like these injured dopes were going to get you 5 more wins, and even if they did, that would be 20-40, which is still unacceptable. The Sox best 2 signings in recent years were Pham and Cueto, all because that was what was left.

There have been great pitchers who once sucked. There have been more pitchers who just sucked. Nastrini sucks right now, but he has talent. It wouldn't surprise me he is successful if he can get a little command. That's his issue, and it's always been. Fixing it is easier said than done.

He should be a politician. i have the feeling that one year ago John Schriffen couldn’t name 8 players that spent the majority of their career with the White Sox.
