Dick Allen

Fedde is on pace for a 4.0 fWAR at $7.5 million this year and next. And the Sox get nothing to be halfway excited about. Getz one good move, signing Fedde, and one decent one, signing Pham, he blows in one trade.

My point being, the Dodgers couldn't get him to hit, so the White Sox won't either. I think we have way too much proof of that.

And salary relief was a thing. He has to sell the team, or at least give up his control of everything. He can't make it better.

He's coming to the White Sox. His ship has sailed.

The big problem is hitters don't get better when they come to the White Sox.

and add we won't ask for much.

I think he is suspended.

Always exciting getting prospects whose write up says their ceiling is a bat first bench player.

Please fire Chris Getz. Please fire Pedro Grifol. Please sell the team.

3 MLB pieces lowly paid, for 3 minor leaguers, non high end. Salary dump.

JR gets salary relief. He's so happy. SELL THE TEAM.

Which buys Getz time before anyone can say he got ripped off. Kind of stunned it's this bad.

If he is, can I interest you in a Nicky Lopez?

The sad thing is JR could blow a ton of money and at the end of the day, neither he or his heirs would feel the difference.

John Schriffen said the Sox are in an enviable position. They don't have to do anything. JR must be in love.

I hope so. Getz needs to get a couple of things done today. He's got too many guys he needs to move, and he can't do it all in one day.

I think he wants to win. I just think he wants to go about it in a way that cannot work anymore.

Cash Considerations beats even David Eckstein in JR's book.

I think he would be great on a good team.

In the first 124 seasons of their existence, the White Sox never lost 14 games in a row during one season. They are about to do it twice in 2 monyhs. Don’t fire anyone.

Once again, Schriffen doesn’t know the score.

Totally agree. But JR wants to do things his and Tony’s way. Tony ruined the DBacks. Went to Boston, helped Dombrowski get fired, and went to the Angels and didn’t help. Now has contributed to making the White Sox a laughingstock.

Gavin Sheets clean up. This is a major league game.

Unless something starts happening soon, I agree. Trading 5 or 6 guys on the 25 man roster at the deadline isn’t practical for several reasons.

I just don’t see him taking it. He wouldn’t make a lot of money. He makes decent money with a cushy job with Fox and his podcast. Can watch his son play. He knows the White Sox are doomed for a while. He knows when it comes time, JR shuts his wallet. OTOH, it wouldn’t take much to show a little progress.
