I believe the cubs do this in some capacity. They have a whole structure in place...if I was a cub fan, I would have probably have looked into it more but it sounded like a novel approach.

The 2nd round pick the Bears got back can really be a wash if the Bears are good and Raiders stink. The later round picks are nothing if Mack plays the way he can. Talking about this while watching the game last night with some guys really makes this move even better for the Bears.

Free agency will need to be granted with much less service and time spent in the minors stay will need to be shortened....just when the White Sox begin to take advantage of this.

All he needs to do is make all of the starts for the rest of this season and be healthy. To look at his stats is futile in my opinion. Same with Rodon at he MLB level.
