Yes but all 16 counts are in essence one charge. Also can only be sentenced for 2nd degree murder or aggravated assault. He'll spend about 3 years in prison.
-
I agree with you and the thing is I am not sure if I am afraid of my and my family's safety, the city and the people, the police, Van Dyke......while I do not want to politicize this but if he is found guilty of 2nd degree or something different those "looking for justice" will not be happy with anything. I also feel bad for him as I cannot imagine having my life in teh balance like that

CPD was told 1:45

Verdict to be released at 2 PM that's a rumor btw

Maddon has won but before we call this cub run anything, the Dodgers have won 6 straight NL West crowns. The cubs won the NL Central twice. That is huge for Chicago but it is nothing earth shattering. A healthy Cleveland rotation and the cub are still chasing that title. The AL has the four best teams in baseball and you could argue the A's and Rays are better than the cubs. Tampa Bay has not missed a beat without him and they are probably better right now then when Joe was there. They won 90 games and had to play New York and Boston 38 times. The NL has been dreadful but is getting better. If Machado and Harper go to the Phillies and San Diego's talent comes along the NL will only continue to be getting better. The Brewers only pitcher to throw over 160 innings was Jhoyls Chacin. I get baseball is going to less reliance on starting pitching but the Brewers literally have none nor do the A's for that matter so maybe bullpens really are the next market correction. The problem, bullpen arms are unreliable, that is why they are in the bullpen to begin with.

After last offseason no way he opts out. Maybe would get 4/48 on open market.
-
Walk off win here will get them back in a groove. Brewers don't hit cub pitching and Cubs have deeper rotation.

Mack is what Ditka traded his entire draft for way back when. Shit happens but that trade was straight up highway robbery. Going to keep Vic employed and looking like Dick Labeau. -
Hopefully another team gets to celebrate on wrigley tomorrow.

Yelich missed triple crown by 1 RBI to Baez. Today's games count in regular season stats
-
These games will both come down to how deep these teams want to get into their bullpens. A loss today sucks but a loss tomorrow ends your season. The travel definitely favors Cub/Brewer Rockies could go from Col to LA to Milwaukee to Chicago in four days that's rough The Braves sitting pretty right now in that first round as is the winner of the cub/Brewer game Quintana owns the Brewers.....7-1 cubs Dodgers win 3-2

He Gio and Rodon are nice pieces in a rebuild should all contribute in some sort for the next several years. -
Race for the worst 2018 record (Top 5 pick) again

So last weekend we were debating beating the cubs for the higher pick. This weekend...if the Tigers get swept and the the cub lose 2 of 3 to the Cards, Sox fans have a little joy.....hopefully at the same time though the Sox lose 1-0 four times. In my world...the Brewers sweep, as do the cubs and the Sox win 3 of 4 -
The five best teams in baseball are in the American League...and Tampa may be better than any NL team. The cub may be the tallest midget in a shitty NL then get to play an AL team that will go through a real tough two week stretch. Cub could lose wild card game or go to world series just as easily.

Probably because of the second half of week one. not sure how many plays he may not have been in -
I didn't do a deep dive on this but where did it say he cheated on her....while he probably did why couldn't he just have broken up and that's that?
-
Dodgers v Cubs wild card game would be media gold. as is Yankees v Oakland (Oakland Bay area is huge) Some big markets in these playoffs.
-
I think he gets traded to an NL team where he could hit and pitch an inning here or there. I would also think this opens the door to send him to winter league and try him more in spring.
-
Opens up a spot for Machado

I liked M&H but they seemed beyond bland...not quite as bland as Murph and Hubner (I like Hubner btw) but they were like listened to WBBM news radio. Haugh adds something more upbeat.
-
With Murphy now they don't even need him as Baez is a better SS so it will all work out for them in the end.

They play the cubs who need to win and Cleveland the next six. Nobody should gain ground on them and then 4 v the Twins. I could easily see a 2-8 finish to this season. -
He has insane power. Even as a serviceable LF and the story is he is putting in a lot of work with Daryl Boston he is part of any rebuild. Wonder if there is any 1B talent there.

I could see JR or his estate selling his stake to Theo.
