Ed is furious at the pitch selection as well is being irrate Gathwright did not steal second. After 3 pitches 2 outs, a walk, and 3 hits 4-2 Royals. The arm slot is killing Ed Count is toast, why is he still putting on cleats plese DL him and hope he retires or his wife appears in a Snapped episode on Oxygen...... Ed wants to fight Gathwright after pounding his chest after making a catch. Ed going to fight Count for throwing sidearm as well. Ed still fired up about 2 out 2nd and giving up the runs

Anyone else find it funny that the Sox seem to be the only organization that treats B games like real games therefore our hitters have not faced major league pithcers and our pitchers have not faced major league hitters prior to the start of the season. I know this not the case all of the time but it seemed to happen quite often where Jim Thome gets 94 at-bats in a B game off guys making injury rehab starts as oppossed to facing Brandon Webb.

Garland blames his poor performances on it that is the difference. He would bring back a pretty nice package in return. Last offseason Hunter Pence was the deal breaker. To guage the value of Garland's worth start with the fact he has never missed a start and he throws about 200 innings. The prospect NOT THE REALITY of this scenario got Gil Meche a really nice deal. Garland in the NL wold be very successful.

Really bad pitch calling. He needed to rare back and blow him away after he fouled off two hanging breaking balls. Oh well nice save.

Next year's starting SS batting .138 career against Lilly.

I can definitely see vick being able to beat a guilty rap, especially because his lawyers should be amazing at picking jurors and all it will take is one to just not want to convict. And I think that vick is most likely guilty, but at the trial it might go differently. I believe the "flippers" receieved no benefit to testifying and there was no leniancy given to them although I could be wrong. It seems the case is pretty concrete. It is possible that the Vick defense is hoping for an O.J. Simpson ruling. Also the State of Virginia is seeking to bring suit for the killing of 8 dogs. The prison term on this related to the cruelty of animals is 5 years PER dog. Ouch.

Next year's outfield will be Pods-Rowand-Dye with Erstad and Gonzalez as the 4th and 5th guys I also think Count will be moved this season.

Why can't the Cardinals hit cub pitching?

Off the top of my head, do the cubs have $70M a year tied to 4 guys a season for the next four years and $85M for 6 guys next season (Ramirez, Lee, Big Z, Lilly , Marquis and the Fonz)? Their pyroll has to be $120M next year. That team is a cash cow.
