  1. On Mike & Mike it was Vazquez or Garcia. Garland has a no trade.
  2. TBS has the best graphics. The scorecard graphis for batting are great.
  3. Vazquez and a good ML pitcher (Broadway) to the Mets for Milledge (sp?) ----Doesn't Vazquez have to be traded out east or something like that. Mets rotation is not that good. Milledge and Fields for Schmidt. Essentially Vazquez, Fields and Broadway for Schmidt. Assuming KW is given the 72 resign window with Schmidt.
  4. Garland is due to pitch again a week from Tuesday and only threw 95 pitches the other night. I bet he is in the pen tomorrow and next Friday as well. Send McCarthy to AAA for a week to make a start or two and get some work in. Bring up a real good defensive outfielder or Tracey for the pen.
  5. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 01:16 PM) 1-0 SOX on a JD HR Thanks. Now back to this nonsense.
  6. Anyone got a score update, I would rather read this then flip between scoreboards. Thanks.
  7. QUOTE(Wedge @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 12:59 PM) who bats lead off then? Whoever is playing second base.
  8. Anyone see the Friday Pop-up promotion at the game last night. That kid was a better outfielder than Pods, I AM NOT JOKING either.
  9. Patience at the plate and we win, if Fred throws strikes. Yesterday patience would have ended Lester in 4 innings (Crede and Ozuna).
  10. We really don't want towin f*** CLIFF OZZIE COST US THIS GAME NO f***ING QUESTIONS ASKED. ENOUGH OF f***ING CLIFF
  11. QUOTE(Wedge @ Jun 29, 2006 -> 02:42 PM) who's left on the bench? AJ? Iguchi and Ozuna Gload and AJ
  12. How wasn't Widger 9th. walk - swing at four straight pitches for two out- walk Crede hit it hard. Think Cliff'll bat if Mack gets on.
  13. Cliff got lucky on a K. 2 down Hawk giving Cliff a bit to much credit the ball almost hit him in the face and he swung.
  14. Hawk's "Glad to see Cliff back on that bump." I'll be glad to see Cliff sitting down going to the 10th. Nice play Cintron, one down.
  15. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Jun 29, 2006 -> 02:20 PM) You have to beat the teams you are supposed to beat. You know that. You know better than that. In 2005, the White Sox beat the teams they were supposed to beat. If you want to win this division--especially this year--you have got to beat the teams with the worst records in the league. Period. C'mon, you know better than that. Exactly right that is what makes this game important. Thanks Jim.
  16. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jun 29, 2006 -> 02:10 PM) Doesnt mean I like it. Apparently we arent supposed to lose a game ever. It will happen. Our pitcher wasnt on today, and the Pirates are so overdue for a win its ridiculous. It's not the losing it is that we are not taking the opportunities to win. We play in the best division in baseball at some point we can not be giving games away. A loss today and we can be 4 1/2 out by Monday. Not the end of the world but not a pleasant thought.
  17. How long before we get the soothing line, "Ozzie isn't afraid to lose a game."
  18. Amazing what a pinch hitter could do. While our hottest hitter the past three games (Iguchi) sits and watches a guy pitch like s***. Instead of getting him a win, he is going to get him shelled. The sad thing is with the rain, a 5-5 game would like great right now.
  19. How do you miss first base, ugh. WHY THE f***ING IS CONTREARAS BATTING ??????????????????????? THIS IS SAD MANAGING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. I have a sad feeling that our offense is done for the day.
  21. Two strikes, three pitches not even close and then a fastball down the middle. Take him out of this thing with Widger. The magic of Widger from last year is history. First pitch pop out to third is pathetic. Well at least we will get a two out pinch hitter in the 6th. Any talk of Contrearas and the all-star game needs to stop right now. There more then 10 better pitchers than him right now.
