Well, for anyone who is going in the future, The Local is where the players meander into after the games. In the first road series of 05', my friends and I had a beer with AJ (who got carded), Joe Crede and Aaron Rowand. Then unfortunately, my stupid friends insisted we hit the strip club, only to read in the paper the following Monday morning that the Hawkeroo and Kenny has stumbled in there at some point later in the evening as well.

Well, managed to finagle the guy down to $175 on the powerblocks. They are actually an older aluminum model that powerblock still sells for $479, basically because the production and labor process is more intensive. Anyways, they are still in good working order (it doesn't appear that you can really damage these weights unless you drop them repeatedly on cement or something), so I just need to disinfect and clean them and then they will be ready to go. Really happy with my purchase.

I think that over the course of both Ozzie and Kenny's tenure, it is these smaller issues and imperfections that cause us to miss out on division titles we should have won, maybe a playoff series we could have won, in other words, a few seasons lost. In my humble opionion, these are the corrections that should be focused upon; these are the errors in judgment that must be corrected and must not be repeated; the decisions that Ozzie can not contnue to make if he truly wishes to become one of the elite managers in the game. I do not think it helps anyone to continually accept them as "this alone likely won't cost us anything..."
