I would hope that we could come up with some legal way to protect private events that are held in semi-public venues. You can stop someone from trespassing at your wedding, even if it is in a public hall you are renting. You can stop someone from yelling fire in a theater. I can't believe the law would allow someone to set up amplifiers outside a business and drive away customers. During a funeral, the mourners are customers of the funeral home. There has to be some protection for the business.

Reporters don't build careers by finding non stories, you don't get headlines with guys who are polling .5% . Another way of saying it, the University of Texas - Pan American has twice this decade been caught for violating NCAA recruiting laws in their basketball program, which happens to be Division One. Why do you now know about it? They cheated, and still don't have a top 100 program in the nation. So nobody cares.

Some people feel better when a vast majority agree, others find the lone wolf, or small group, rallying against the vast, wrong. majority and believe them. I'll assume that overall they are all honest and coming to conclusions that they believe are accurate. Then I will side with protecting out environment over how much abuse can we heap on it and have it keep ticking.

One key factor that is missing is how they want her to dress. "Professional" is what I read. I assume that the President didn't say wear something that shows off that great body. This is very subtle harassment, almost reverse of the stereotypical behavior that Neanderthal bosses displayed in the dark ages. Would anyone's opinion of harassment change if the President said he just wanted her to dress more conservatively? I agree with Steff in what steps she should take, but we may find at the end of the rainbow, it is a poor attempt at helping her.

I think the committee has to be careful to be certain whatever criteria they use can be applied to every candidate. That may be tricky.
