  1. The six Bulls championships. The team put together great rosters to compliment Jordan.
  2. The team wins and loses based on the players. If we're going to call Jerry the worst owner because he's got crappy players today we also have to acknowledge the teams he owned also managed to put together some championship rosters . . . Decades ago. Whatever luck, skill, talent he had as a sports team owner has gone away. I do think twenty years after retirement his legacy will look better than today. Immediacy always moves subjective votes like best and worst more than time. At least to me he clearly needs to step away from day to day operations. Somewhere in the shareholders there must be a competent business leader to take on the Chairperson role.
  3. There are only a couple of politicians in my lifetime that I truly believed were selfless and put their constituents first. He was a statesman and walked the talk. I wish we had more leaders with his integrity.
  4. That's a bummer. I always enjoyed his work.
  5. I've been in the waiting list for years. I'm hoping this year I'll finally move up.
  6. And really, no love for the framing joke? He was a carpenter. I hope for at least one laugh. 😂
  7. When you have been outmanoeuvred by every other MLB team for a decade, it's easy to believe that other teams know more. At a minimum expecting every trade to go well for our competition and every trade go bad for us, means you would be correct way more time than wrong.

What's a White Sox free agent signing? Only Boomers remember those.
  10. Then you have health insurance claims to deal with. You just can't win.
  11. The plan is simple, pull your weapon if you don't want the hassle of an insurance claim. https://a.co/d/fsyGHAy here's a mount that works well in many cars. I'm going to exit the vehicle and file the claim but you do you.
  12. I'll take a MLB ready player over a kid at the lowest rung of the ladder. If he's eating any innings in June we can pick up a AA arm for him. Plus now we have a pitcher that really understands framing.
  13. Earning a living in journalism is getting more and more difficult. Soon it will be all AI and volunteer generated. It's like Walmart, hire a bunch of cheap pay time freelancers to create content. If everyone is racing to the bottom it won't matter. As far as the timing I'm wondering if they have over 100 employees and the WARN act needs to be followed. It's a tough call, some folks would rather know immediately to avoid unnecessary expenses. Imagine buying a bunch of gifts, taking a trip, then getting back to find out you're being fired. That's not cool either.
  14. And intelligent. Yet you choose to wear a naive sock puppet while posting here. I feel like we're missing out. Where do you discuss politics and I'll follow you over there?
  15. I'll be in Illinois next week. I'll take the over in a heartbeat.
  16. Lol Greg. I've read too many of your posts to really believe you don't know what an echo chamber is. I appreciate you keeping a dialogue going but how about just once having your character be the most intelligent one in the thread?
  17. Getz may have helped himself by showing he's patient and willing to wait for the right deal. One advantage of waiting is the prospects we get are undoubtedly getting a better development experience whenever they are.
  18. X is one of the worst. It's a total echo chamber. I deregister and haven't been back.
  19. I'm buying a ticket to his first start. Said nobody.
  20. I keep reading that headline and trying to remember Cash, what position he played, and how we fucked up his development.
  21. How about Taxpayer Field at Comiskey Park for the new one? I'm warming up to y'all in Illinois buying my favorite team a new stadium. Hell, increase the hotel tax to pay for it. Joking.
