  1. Rally Crede can not take any time off this off season. For the first time in my lifetime, the off season can only be worse than the end of the season. I don't see us adding a huge name to the roster, just trying to hang on to what we have. We have gut retching times with Konerko and Thomas, and all that World Series s*** I bought last night to pay for. Dammit, I needed 3 sweatshirts living in South Texas
  2. Just to be clear, I still think some of y'all are real idiots, have zero common sense, whine waaaaay to much about media treatment, think players are fans, and a few other things. I'm not letting this sentimental ooooh we are the champions feeling to cloud my judgement.
  3. QUOTE(HermanFontenot @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 12:22 AM) Hate as a sports term, of course. My hate for the White Sox is strictly rivalry hate. Not real hate. That I reserve for the Yankees and Red Sox Really, I all I wanted was for the AL Central to get the kind of representation it deserved. We couldn't do it, but at least you guys did. I hope the world knows now that the AL Central is the best division in baseball (except for the Royals ). I know what you mean, it's all fun. Besides we can agree on hating the Twins, so that's good
  4. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 12:19 AM) Probably will seem ironic from a fan with my name on here but thanks. You guys gave us one hell of a run for our money this year, like you always do, and it made the season that much more fun. Thanks man! Boooooooooo Allow me to translate. What Nuke meant to say was EAT s*** CLEVELAND!!!!!!!!
  5. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 12:13 AM) Fixed How about a mention for me for staying out of the chat?
  6. I always cheer for the AL Central, so I never really hate the Tribe. Next season will be fun and exciting.
  7. I wish there was a way to easily print all of this thread.
  8. To honor this achievement let's let all the banned posters back Just kidding
  9. The Bears electrified the city and suburbs more. From Antioch to Kankakee. There was never a doubt about just how good the Bears were. So there was a lot more chest thumping. I just told Kap that last night was the moment I knew the Sox were there. From the first inning I never worried, I *knew* they were going to win last night. I never doubted and posted No worries y'all a dozen times.
  10. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Oct 26, 2005 -> 11:35 PM) I Gotcha covered. Gee Nuke, it must have been hard seeing a great GOPerhead like Pres. Bush and his mom down there in an Astros jacket.
  11. That had to be a nightmare for the umpire. Last out, and a slam bam play at first.
  12. QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Oct 26, 2005 -> 11:32 PM) Texans= Classy People Hey Buddy! Great to see you stopping by
  13. Thank you Rally Crede,
  14. When the fans become participants, it takes away from the game.
  15. For out of towners, it's easily the best place to be.
  16. Notice that the fans down the left field line allowed Uribe a chance. Probably not true in other venues.
  17. Eat what you kill! No worries y'all Now I'll buy and damn cap and shirt. I said no to the division and no to the AL. I can't say no to a WS Championship team!
  18. Hitting the baserunner yesterday? Forgettaboutit! Awesome effort.
  19. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Oct 26, 2005 -> 07:35 PM) I rolled in that stuff one time at Boy Scout camp because I wanted to go home. Nothin. Not one little bump, red mark, or itch. -- And yes, it was poison ivy. My friend who took the roll with me was on his way home by the time the sun set. Homesick?
  20. Note to bleacher fans. Bring a sharpie and autograph the ball and then throw it back. Maybe add a screw you :finger
  21. Another f***ing bulls*** Mariotti article http://www.suntimes.com/output/mariotti/cst-spt-jay26.html I didn't actually read it yet, but I'm certain it is and I want to be the first to say it. It is a race isn't it?
  22. Depends on the bar. In some it would be more acceptable to kiss the nearest guy . . .
  23. QUOTE(YASNY @ Oct 26, 2005 -> 07:20 AM) No charge. It is worth double or triple that.
  24. Thanks Yas, great read LMAO
  25. That's a die hard fan. If throwing them back wasn't a Cub thing, it would look very cool on the south side. It is one of the few things at Wrigley I actually like.
