  1. Some of these people reporting from the White House are not Bush fans! Why the f*** are they writing about Bush if they aren't fans? They rip on him. Then when he does do something nice, the bandwagon jumpers appear and all of a sudden they are fans. :headshake
  2. I saw them live a couple times, the most recent maybe 15 years ago at Rosemont. Great show, they are much better live than recorded. Maybe it's the over produced sounds, but I also enjoyed ELP, ELO, and others that had lots of production values. I was a HS student in the 70s and Listened to all things on radio land. Pink Floyd to Billy Joel and never worried about what was cool and what wasn't. I couldn't name all the members of Zepplin, but I owned all their albums. Yes vinyl pressed recordings. I remember going to 8-tracks. I was a huge fan of The Who and Chicago. Now I stretch from Opera to Country, from some of my son's indie tracks, to classical. Everything in it's time and place. I wish I could remember when my kids were conceived, I guess I got laid more than y'all.
  3. Rally Crede turns wine into beer and serves it cold to Sox fans everywhere
  4. I can't stand how one sided Rush's show has gotten. I love the days when he was a moderate and unbiased.
  5. ncorgbl is still around, and under that name?
  6. Actually didn't Johnny steal Buzz the first time from Dahl? I thought Buzz's first gig in Chicago was with Dahl. I am sooooooo frickin' homesick. You would not believe what makes the radio here. I get so accustomed to it that it isn't until I return to Chicago I realize how bad it is.
  7. I'm just not up on my Jackson trivia.
  8. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Oct 25, 2005 -> 11:58 AM) Mine must have got lost in the mail that year. This year too. Lost with our invites to Brian's wedding. You know the one with QP
  9. QUOTE(kevin57 @ Oct 25, 2005 -> 07:27 AM) Suggestion: If you don't like these threads, there's a simple solution...don't read them! Some of us have to read every damn thread no matter what. Is there a twelve step program for message boards? Hello, my name is Tex, and I'm a soxtalk junkie. Hi Tex, where is Southsider?
  10. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Oct 25, 2005 -> 07:20 AM) Answer: Whatever he wanted to. Rally Crede started his day with a big bowl of cheerios, toast, fruit, juice and coffee. He likes his coffee like he likes his Astros fans bitter!
  11. BTW, check out the Sex, Lies, and Politics Forum, this thread would have fit perfectly there.
  12. Threadjack What did Rally Crede do on his off day?
  13. QUOTE(FGarcia34 @ Oct 24, 2005 -> 10:59 PM) Oh I'm still going because I want to be with a giant group of diehard sox fans to see these games. I was just saying that 15 bucks is alittle much for not too much effort on the White Sox/United Center's behalf. It may be filled with celebrities looking to get their picture on the news. Damn bandwagon jumpers grabing all the good seats.
  14. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Oct 25, 2005 -> 06:38 AM) At least we know she will always have a seat on the front of the bus in heaven. RIP Rosa. Or the back if she chooses. And isn't that the key to happiness and equality, having choices?
  15. Could this be a ploy to look heroic when he comes out to the mound? The bloody t-shirt?
  16. Sox fans only respect sports guys that kiss our asses and love all things Sox. Everyone who ever, even once, dares to utter or print a negative is an idiot, moron. You would think will all those WS championships we would get picked every year, but sadly it takes some guys too long to catch on. Of course then they are bandwagon jumpers.
  17. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Oct 24, 2005 -> 09:45 PM) Fast track to Hell but: She's going to have to ride in the back of the hearse no matter how much protest there is. /punches.ticket But in all seriousness, America has lost a wonderful human being. laughing all the way . . . At least I'm going to be with friends on the way to hell.
  18. QUOTE(BigEdWalsh @ Oct 24, 2005 -> 10:08 PM) You will never regret it, in fact by doing so you will be wiser than you can ever fathom. Believe in the power of the Rally Crede. Amen.
  19. RIP Amazing how an ordinary person can achieve extraordinary immortality in an ordinary way.
  20. Hmmm, the computers like Texas, the humans USC. I didn't think games played last year should count, so them being on top for all those weeks seems wrong, if what is keeping them on tip is the fact they have been on top all those weeks. It becomes a self fulfilling event.
  21. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Oct 24, 2005 -> 06:59 PM) The Rally Crede loves it when someone Tadahito's his Iguchi.
  22. QUOTE(mr_genius @ Oct 24, 2005 -> 06:29 PM) The.Only.Thing.More.Annoying.Than.Mariotti.Are.People.Who.Post.Like.This or.people.who.complain.about.people.posting.like.this.by.posting.like.this. Damn that is annoying to type I think it needed to be shorter to be effective.
  23. I'll be pulling for them to make the WS. Because the Rally Crede told me that the Cubs only win today, to make losing tomorrow, that much more painful.
  24. Damn, I'm on the losing end in Texas, again . . .
