  1. QUOTE(Steff @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 09:40 AM) Eh.. just assume a reply. Then your response is "Where did I say that?" I've fallen in that trap with you way too often.
  2. QUOTE(Steff @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 08:25 AM) Not if they shoot a hole in the right computer.... How would that help?
  3. QUOTE(Steff @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 08:41 AM) Anything to b**** about... 100% Correct, as always.

  5. QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 08:38 AM) For a " Po, po peanut faaamer from Joeja" he's done alot of work for peace and human rights. Look at their post President lives and it would seem that Carter, of all our ex-Presidents, would be the best representative to send to the funeral of a major religious figure. Certainly ahead of Clinton, and I would even place him ahead of Bush Sr. Teaching Sunday School, Building homes for the poor, supervising elections, his books all witness to his belief in Christ.
  6. Michael Schiavo's attorney when asked why his client did not allow the family to be there I guess I made the mistake of thinking his attorney, who was there, and advising Michael, actually knew what was happening. Thanks for clearing that up.
  7. Linked Here :headshake A great Texas leader giving his all for his country and the damn anti-Texas media wants his scalp. I cannot believe the media can keep making up stuff like this and get away with it. Notice how they don't even try and hide their agenda, they mention right away he's from Texas but don't even mention he's a Republican. The damn media has such a bias against Texans. I'll bet if this was someone from Illinois they wouldn't be making up these horrible lies . But the anti-Texan bias in the news is just terrible.

  9. QUOTE(winodj @ Apr 5, 2005 -> 08:00 PM) This whole thing seems like a disaster waiting to happen. It's already a disaster on several levels at the border. I don't think this adds to, or subtracts from, the disaster on the border. If they stay there a month, they will probably save at least one person's life. Too bad that they don't speak Spanish.
  10. Opening Scene, Fat Daddy sitting alone, again, in the apartment he shares with his mom, googling celebrity boobs. Hmmmm, I'll break into the house, pretend to lose my cell phone, and ask them to take off their clothes heeheehee, yeah, they'll do it. Wait, I better bring a gun . . . It sounded like such a great idea to him at first

  12. QUOTE(winodj @ Apr 5, 2005 -> 08:05 PM) Order of importance. How would you have put them in order? Pres Bush, Rice, Clinton, Bush Sr.?? Where ould you have put Mrs. Bush?
  13. QUOTE(YASNY @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 04:20 AM) This reminds me of someone else, who won't fluctuate one iota on a particular issue because this person feels so strongly. Just saying. Thank you, I'll admit it. Also, just saying.
  14. And let them remember the first rule of democracy. Elections do not guarantee you will not get ass clowns for leaders.
  15. Anyone else notice he talked about a sore back that has bothered him for 4 years? I cannot recall any mention of a back problem while he was offering batting practice in a White Sox uniform. I like the guy. He's an example of a great attitude guy with a major drop in effectiveness. I think everyone who has ever been fired, downsized, or felt in general screwed with by a corporation wishes they could go and cheer on the competition.

    Reality Bites

I honestly never owned a Michael Jackson album, tape, or cd. I also was a bar DJ during that time and was Working Day And Night with a boss who kept demanding I Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough and would always want to Rock With You. Man he would come in and tell us to Get On the Floor and Off The Wall while his Girlfriend, well She's Out Of My Life because It's The Falling In Love that I Can't Help It and had to Burn This Disco Out. I've had all the Jackson music I can stand.
  17. QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Apr 5, 2005 -> 11:51 PM) Jeeze Tex, you had to go and get so smart on us. I majored in Journalism the first time around and also thought that was the standard style sheet as well. Then I started poking around and found out it isn't the case. Most newspapers have style books that guide their reporters in such matters. It does bring up an interesting point that on-line newspapers are not keeping up with a readers need to know. It would seem that an article posted on the Internet has a wider audience and those sort of identifiers should be up higher in the story.
  18. QUOTE(EvilMonkey @ Apr 5, 2005 -> 09:59 PM) At the risk of having LCR saying that I see conspricies everywhere, notice how the story never mentions that he is a Democrat until the 7th paragraph? Isn't that usually noted in () right after their names first appears, such as 'Senator Ford (D)? It's in a Memphis newspaper. Does the Tribune and Sun-Times always print Mayor Daley (D) in their stories? Senator Obama (D)? I know our local paper rarely identifies our leader's party. When they report on someone from out of the area, they add it. But Congressman Hinojosa, Senators Cornyn and Hutchinson, are rarely tagged. I just quickly hit the Sun-Times and picked a couple national reports.
  19. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 5, 2005 -> 07:48 PM) First time in the history of the USA that a President has attended a Popes funeral. Now we send 3 and it isn't enough.
  20. QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ Apr 5, 2005 -> 10:04 PM) Ears bleeding, pain, pain, pain. Just heard a Tim McGraw cover of Tiny Dancer. I'm going to have nightmares for a week....*shudder* OMG Tell me it ain't so. :puke and I listen to country.
  21. The guest list for the Pope's funeral includes over 200 heads of state. What an inviting terrorist target. I wonder if it really is wise for Bush to attend. This must be the most security conscious event in history.
  22. Do school officials ever get out? Energy mints have been around for years now. :headshake

I was just about to post that she should do the Playboy centerfold thing before it was too late. (the truly last resort to get attention) Apparently, it is too late.
