Remember to tell the Doctor you want to share fully in this experience. Any drugs she gets, you want . . . When my son was born in December of 1988 Dr. Falls and I started discussing the Bulls and how he didn't renew his season tickets. I was just finishing hooking him up with a couple of mine when my wife asked if we were done and maybe someone could help her have this baby! Fast forward a couple years and in 1991 when my daughter was born, once again he had call that night. This time I needed tickets and he reciprocated. Once again my poor bride was left chatting with the nurses.
  4. Speaking of Texas . . .
  5. Isn't this day 24 hours like the rest of them? Isn't this the shortest daylight day of the year

Not that far west. But that is my point, they are selling something, running errands, etc, Not just sticking a cupin your face and asking for money.
  7. That's why I have to live near Mexico, the surgery is available in Mexico for less.
  8. So what did you decide??
  9. Me Too!!

At least they are trying to provide a service. One thing I can say about Mexico is I have never seen an able bodied man asking for a handout. There is an army of squeegy dudes, (They do a great job), shoe shine guys, guys selling .05 chiclets for .50 etc. but they are trying to do something. The guys that won't at least try something bug me.
  11. Obviously this is a GOP inspired tactic to remove anything blue from the landscape. I'm surprised the decision wasn't to go with red seats
  12. I have the shortcut to black, default is green . . .

It is too hard to pick one. Can I go with none? Not a PJ fan.
  14. Anyone find the sweet irony of the Sox switching seats to our color for sarcasm and kidding? me neither.
  15. If Ben falls in the woods and no one is there to hear, does he make a sound?

IMHO SUV drivers can be broken down into two groups. Ones that have business or hobbies that necessitate 4-wheel drive, the room, etc. And those who want the imagine or the perceived safety of a bigger SUV. I bought mine to tow my boat and makes Boy Scout trips insanely easier. My neighbor who bought the Hummer as a rolling advertisement for his practice is probably closer to the above generalization.

But you could still be a volunteer. Coaching, Scout Troop, PTA, Boys and Girls Clubs . . .

LOL. I am certain it was unintentional, but funny never the less. We have the underpass guys down here. They are dropped off every morning in their wheelchairs and they work the traffic all day then when their shift is over, the van picks them up. They muscle out anyone who tries and move in on their territory. It's like a frickin' franchise. I never give them anything. Well once I gave one of the guys a cap from the "other country club" in town, and told him I would give him $1 every time I saw him wearing it. After two days he told me someone bought it from him for $10 and he asked me if I could get him another one

Then you probably know my father in law. He has been just about every position both local and statewide over the past 30 years. Great group. I hate tootsie rolls

Is Chevy still doing the 100,000 mile club? When I rolled over 100k they gave me a cap and displayed my Blazer's picture in the showroom. Great scam to gather names of people who would be trading in soon
  21. Especially with a pitcher hitting behind him. He isn't going to see anything good to hit. I am assuming he's batting 8th in that lineup.

My Chevy Blazer had over 150,000 miles when I sold it to a guy for surf fishing on the island. I also put over 100,000 miles on a Suburban without a repair beyond scheduled maintenance.
  23. Willie or Cora? Do teams fighting for a World Series birth ever have to think about something like this? :headshake God we suck. I hate baseball with 4 or 5 elite teams and the rest just road kill, carnival side show freaks, the Washington Generals to the Globe Trotters. I know it's what we are dealt but we're worrying about which guys we'd pick up from baseballs scrap heap of old and discarded parts. :puke
