One for KW and one for JR. I cannot fault either one this season. They seem to really be going for more than a division title.
  2. Happy Birthday young'in

A lot of bloggers would use a certain term and link to it. Here is a link

His attitude has been 1st class going back a couple years. Both the Rangers and the Sox had positive things to say about his atitude. Of the names that have been bantered about, he seems like the best player for a team trying to win the AL. If we were back in 4th bring in Grif and start the 500 countdown, which could take until fall of 2005.
  7. OMG, Other frauds reveiled, I am crushed. You would think you could trust a Sox shareholder Lies Lies Lies Lies Lies

Saw this image, wanted to share. I'm really liking the guy. He's a perfect fit for an Ozzie team.
  9. I'm hoping my status as a shareholder will influence Bud more.
  10. I wrote a letter to MLB complaining about Torre's last pick. The best offense in baseball has zero hitters at the All-Star game??
  11. His mommy is dropping him off. Which isn't bad if you are 15, but he's 40'something
  12. BTW corg, since you will probably read this, let me help with your next lie. Be so pissed at the Sox that you sell your stock and cancel your season tickets.

Sliced brisket, beans, rice, onion, pickle, jalapeno, bread, and sweat tea for under $6.00. Hey Kap, y'all have Rudy's up north?

LOL, last year I was out in the Mountain Man program, this year I am splitting time between basecamp and the new guys and a couple nights treking in the far backcountry. Kenny and JR have my sat phone number in case they call a shareholder's meeting. I can still help out, so do not worry
  15. Thanks, it was up *before* the trade. At first it was "that trick never works" . . . But when I was talking with Kenny at the last shareholder's meeting and he let it slip that we would be getting him, I had knight update the sig. Come to think of it, we should all pretend to be shareholders
  16. From FlaSoxxJim regarding the ESPN boards
  17. While I usually object to piling on, in this case I agree. He perpetuated a myth for a long time, abused people, belittled people, challenged people. If he wasn't so annoying, no one would have spent so much time and effort to expose him And if he didn't fight with so many, there wouldn't be so much piling on.

    LOL, thank you.
  19. I love the guy. It is caught red handed and still sticks to his false identity. Wow. I hope he doesn't actually believe himself.

CW, I apologize for my earlier wish. How could I be so cruel and not respect your age. Allow me to try again Happy Birthday, Is that easier to read?

I really miss my silent weekend retreats up in Barrington. The Jesuits run a very nice retreat house. Sadly, I haven't found a good substitute here.

Corg loved a song, this is still an all-time favorite and perhaps, his shining movement. KW's Eau Du Colon When are you gonna come down Where will your contract land I should have stayed on the farm I should have listened to the old man You know you can't bait me forever I couldn't sign up with you I'm not a checkbook for your friends to open This boy's too young to be singing the blues So goodbye Bartolo Colon Where the dogs of big league baseball howl You won't let me in your penthouse I'm going back to my plough Back to the howling old room in the woods Hunting the next major league lode Oh I've finally decided my future lies Beyond the Charlotte road What do you think you'll eat then I bet you'll stay a tub o' goo It'll take you a couple of dozen burritos To never see your feet again Maybe you'll get a new G.M. There's plenty like me to be found Mongrels who ain't got a penny Sniffing for tidbits like you on the ground So goodbye Bartolo Colon Where the dogs of big league baseball howl You won't let me in your penthouse I'm going back to my plough Back to the howling old room in the woods Hunting the next major league lode Oh I've finally decided my future lies Beyond the Charlotte road

Like David Hinkley and Squeeky From, my theory is corg did all this just to impress a girl. I have even penned an ode to the couple as sung by Mr. Ncorgble. I hope y'all like it. With appologies to Kenny Rogers. While she's not posting, I stay up late at night and toke my bong And most times all my lies can be so wrong And it's good that I'm really just a gnome, all alone While she starts posting, I try to impress her with my fight And quickly she says that I'm really right. And I post to her and say, I'm in a plight, it's not a pretty sight. Chorus And she believed in me, I'll never know just what she sees in me I told her everyday I was THE Man, I had changed the Sox With my little spies, But they were all lies. But she had faith in me, and so I go on trying faithfully And who knows maybe on some special night, if my lies were right I will find a way, find a way... While she sits waiting, I stumble to the computer for a byte Then I see my old mom in the night Just waiting for me like a secret friend, and there's no end While the whole worlds laughing, I fumble with an answer to my plight And I'm torn between the things that I should do And the boards wake up to say we're through, God my truths were few. Chorus And she believed in me, I'll never know just what she sees in me I told her everyday I was THE Man, I had changed the Sox With my little spies, But it all was lies. But she has faith in me, and so I go on trying faithfully And who knows maybe on some special night, if my lies were right I will find a way, find a way...
