Kenny, JR, and Ozzie are gathered around the office discussing Saturday and the rotation. Let's take a look at some of the tools they used
  4. As I was contemplating the #1 Thread of 2003. I started humming a song Years from now, newbies will be asking about that legendary thread and, in reverent tones, we will reply to the goodness and smiles it brought. I just hope during this season we ever have to bring back The Passionless thread.
  5. Every once in a while I like to plug into whatever my now Sophmore son is listening to. Fortunatly he outgrew NOW 14 type stuff a long time ago. Today was his last day of school and they didn't allow backpacks. So he left his CD player in my car after I dropped him off. I figured I would be hearing some Yellowcard or something like that. Instead it was Abbey Road He's really getting into some classic rock. Last night I was walking past his room and heard the Dark Side of the Moon. He told me after listening to Dark Side he realized what I meant by concept albums, not collectins of singles. Lunch was What-a-Burger and a late afternoon stop at Shakes for a frozen custard.
  6. OMG I thought the web site was funny. An infomercial would be hilarious. I have to look for it.

Among many problems with pizza in south texas is the meat. The sausage is really bland. I need the spice. So when I get back, nothing hits the spot like Lou's and the giant slab of sausage they put on.

I love it when politicians joke about how rich they are. Like Bush is a middle class guy.

  14. Only a fool would say never. Of course we will see another 300 win pitcher. It will be an even bigger accomplishment than some current 300 game winners with the trends involved.
  15. Great move. In Blanchard's book the One Minute Manager a key concept is to find your people doing something right and heaping on the praise. Make certain they can reconnect with that feeling when they need it. I always thought meetings when times are good were more productive then when times were bad. I liked the signing of Oz when it happened and continue to like what he is doing.
  16. As amazing as they were last year, is as amazing as they are this year. Good baseball people picked them to win the Central. I thought that was a bit aggressive, but who didn't expect them to be in the final three?
  17. What is the size of the court , number of players, main rules?

I'm with you 100% there. The whole beautiful baby thing goes down the drain as soon as you see the mishaped head emerge. That is one nasty trip down the birth canal, and the human head is design to deform a bit to make it easier. Add a little blood, some extra fluids, and it ain't a pretty sight. A couple hours later, everything starts to look a whole lot better. And keep perfecting the warm caring guy thing, chicks dig it.
  19. How can you read Sporting News in that position? Remember, if Dad is on the Atkins diet you may wish to buy him two, one for the office. Now for the big question, why was ChiSoxFn looking for a device to allow him to expel solid waste at greater velocity and to more completely empty his bowels?

  21. / Thread jack In grabbing Walter Ray's pic (shouldn't he be in a NASCAR race with a name like Walter Ray Williams) I discovered the multi-talented PBA bowler is also a 4-time world and 17-time California Champion in Horseshoes? I gotta ask Is horseshoes a sport?
  22. Drug causing GIs permanent brain damage
  23. ChiSoxFn is strolling outside when he spots a falling star "Oh, I wish she would go down tonight, it's been sooooo long" How was his fairy God Mother to know he didn't mean Soxtalk?
  24. Didn't we come crashing down like crack whore in prison, last time we added a bunch of s***? I don't care, really I just wanted to say crack whore
